    I use it with the la rosche posay sensitive cleanser and it works perfectly fine, the nuskin products have some ingredients that don't agree with my skin so I use a sensitive cleanser with no active ingredients

    • @KurtProvost
      @KurtProvost  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ultimately it's your skin, and if you're willing to risk using product combinations not recommended by the manufacturers, then go for it. However as I mentioned in the video, the Lumispa requires cleansers with a specific viscosity and consistency to work as intended, only the official cleansers can guarantee that.

      @@KurtProvost I got lumispa for my sensitive skin and after using for 5days day and night, I don't know my face get rough and I already stop using it. It's necessary to use it everyday for 2x? Thank you

      @@irenemartin9697 no you don't need to use it twice a day, especially if you have sensitive skin I would recommend just once a day. Have you spoken with the person that sold it to you yet? If you're a retail customer there is the possibility of returning the cleanser and trying a different one to see if it's more suitable for your skin (I suggest trying the Dry formula), the person who sold it to you will be able to help you with this👌

    Hi have subscribed. 3 questions please: 1. Is it damaging if I do it more than 2 min.? 2. It is ok to use non NuSkin toner, isn't it? 3. Is it ok to use baby wipes instead of toner, to make sure my face is really clean?

    • @KurtProvost
      @KurtProvost  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Carol, it may irritate your skin and could cause damage if done for longer than recommended. You can use whatever toner you like as long as it works. I don't recommend using baby wipes, the Lumispa will have cleansed your skin thoroughly, there's no reason to wipe it with something not necessarily designed for your face.

    I’ve bought this product. Using it for years now. You can use with other products. Ask the Nuiskin specialist to give alternative suggestions of products that can be used as well.
    Note: you’ll only get results, if you hydrate daily, that is drink the right amount of fluids. Mostly everything is to do internally as to healthy diet in my opinion. If you are healthy and well inside you’ll also notice you feel good and look healthier. It’s all about balance. Also, maintain good hygiene is a must.
    Yes, you should ensure care of the electric hand held for longevity. You should be aware of how to use the product before using.
    But, personally this isn’t suitable for people with very, very sensitive skins.

    Personally, I call BS on not using other products and the amount of product they are telling you to use....it's called more sales for their products! Of course they are going to tell you that you can't .

    • @KurtProvost
      @KurtProvost  3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I'm not sure why it's difficult to grasp that the Lumispa cleansers are designed to work specifically with the Lumispa and deliver the results that the company claims the product can provide, as demonstrated by their clinical studies.
      You are welcome to call "BS" and use whatever cleanser you like, after all, it's your face, and you have every right to experiment with it in whatever way takes your fancy. However do not expect the same results as the clinicals.

    Thanks a lot for this video. But the problem with my gadget is that the head seems a bit hard to be taken out of the gadget to be cleaned. Unlike the ones I’ve seen on videos where the head just popped out when you pulled it. As a result, the head was disassembled into pieces and the little white wheels in between the blue and light blue circles popped and has fallen into the sink. Mine was less than a month of usage.
    What is the correct way to do it? Maybe I did it wrong. Please help.

    • @KurtProvost
      @KurtProvost  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like you should give product support a call, because the heads are usually quite easy to pop off. I have had one case of it being on very tight, but it still worked perfectly, just was tricky to remove. If you are having difficulty taking it off, dry the device and head, then try then so you have a better grip.

    Wow thank for the video. Basically how I understood it is that after cleaning my skin with Lumispa (I am new to it as I am only about to buy this device as I have heard lots of good things about it) I still have to use toner for final clean? I thought Lumispa will clean it all and then I only wash my face with water and thats it 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Hi, how much cleanser exactly should be put on the Lumispa head? The light blue area is rather big, are you saying that whole area shd be covered?

    • @KurtProvost
      @KurtProvost  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is large, it depends on the cleanser and the size of your face. Some of the cleansers are quite runny and will spread out and cover the center circle, while the Dry cleanser is firm and will sit in a pile so I don't recommend covering the entire center circle with it. It's a rough guide, but you need enough so that the cleanser will cover your whole face in a thin layer. That will be slightly different for everyone.

    “Use the right cleanser”
    But... none of the nuskin products are confirmed vegan (as nuskin says themselves) and are not confirmed cruelty free...
    “Don’t use other cleansers...”
    Okay, so then what you’re saying is, don’t buy the lumispa if you’re vegan 🤗

      You're welcome, from the info you've shared I'd say you're right, this isn't the product for you.

      @@KurtProvost I’m vegan for the animals/ethically. I find that even vegan products can contain a lot of unnecessary ingredients that don’t work well with my skin (sensitive skin) so never just blanket buy something because it’s vegan.

    • @KurtProvost
      @KurtProvost  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@glcnornes3783 that's good to know, because I see many people fall into that trap of thinking because a product has vegan on it, it must be great for my skin...which isn't always the case.
      If you're purchasing a product from NuSkin from anywhere but China, then your products will not have been tested on animals. China however is a different story, as they require it by law, however there are murmurs of change on the horizon, so hopefully that won't be the case for long.

    • @glcnornes3783
      @glcnornes3783 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@KurtProvost I know, my friend has recently started selling their products and gave me some samples (here you glow, thirst fix and some mud mask) and she loves the lumispa... so I was thinking of saving up for it. But unfortunately I had to go and check for myself about their animal testing/vegan status.
      That's what is sneaky though, there are a lot of big popular brands that try to claim they don't test on animals... but if they sell in China, they have to consent to the mandated animal testing.
      I think there are some companies that have gotten around that by selling directly to the customer (don't quote me) so I would be happy to hear that they were able to guarantee no animal derived products are used & that they finally can get stamped Cruelty Free.
      When I first started my vegan journey I fell into that trap of "oh it's vegan so that means plants, natural & good for you" ... yeah... no... check your labels people ;)
      Good luck, and thank you for the pleasant chat
