To everyone wishing Woo-hak and Mok-ha end up together, I'm here to tell you that's ridiculous in every way. Its actually the drama's fault for not emphasizing enough on what kiho is to mokha and especially what kiho does for her. If youve watched till episode 10, i myself can give you 20 instances when kiho did the purest things out of love for her and was so silent about them that they went painfully unnoticed. -sending the video to Ranjoo when young mokha gave up on her dream and then literally ensuring that she talked to seojun on call -telling her to come to him if her father ever became violent again. Then literally making sure everything is prepared if she actually came and they had to leave. That includes going shopping for the new raincoat, the shoes, the food, the chocolate he bought to fill the bag. -giving her the bag full of notes, money, and everything else as soon as he realized her father was here. And then throwing away his chance of reconciling with his mom and brother as soon as he got away from the island just to ensure mokhas safety. He didnt even let her know he saw her father and made her believe it was his plan all along. -litetally getting beat up so bad that he had to be hospitalized, and this is something mokha doesnt know till this day. -waiting outside ranjoos house in the harsh winter to give her mokhas picture and tell her to give her a hug when she meets her -waiting at 8.00pm in seoul station every single July 1 for mokha to show up -founding the volunteering on deserted island club in college and never skipping a weekend until he found her -looking for a house for her and even paying for it as soon as he found her on the island in case she ever needed her own place to stay -telling her to add his number to emergency and to call her anytime he will be there -risking his first time being a main ptoducer just to put her on stage for the world to see her, know her, love her. The confidence and trust it took on his part to take this decision is salute worthy. -designing her debut stage exactly the way she herself did 15 years ago with the audition video. The feeling of the ocean, the lights, all his creativity to make her debut magical. -literally looking for her everywhere like crazy until he found her after she ran away only to tell her it was easy to find her as she is a celebrity. -telling her to chase her dream and go ahead with it and make it so big that her songs are played everywhere. -only ever showing his true thoughts and feelings to her which he otherwise never does in front of anyone, talking about the night he confronted his father -requesting ranjoo to help mokha with her music after seeing the new lyrics she wrote, learning the whole arrangement from ranjoo, and coming to mokha to teach it to her so she can ace the showcase -shopping again to prepare that house for her to move into because she has her dream to chase. Literally his own money in it all. -not asking her a single question about her decision to pick debuting over the other option but actually carrying all her bags and making sure she is settled at the new place. -telling her to come to him if she ever feels like it and that he will keep the rooftop house vacant for her -all this while fighting his own demons, going through so much trauma, constantly living in fear, literally never finding little peace or happiness, but surviving for his family, even losing his job aka his only source of income, and let's not even go into the scandal and the shame and difficulty he is being put through due to no fault of his own. Kiho is a one of a kind guy. Nobody can match up to him no matter what. Even if others had the same time, they wouldnt be kiho because kiho was courageous and kind and in love enough to do it all for mokha, even at the cost of himself.
May I add one more. Kiho joined the Marines when he was in his compulsory military service. And during his vacation, the first thing he did was to go to the station, repeating the same act he did all the time: hopelessly standing there hoping somehow Mokha would appear. This is shown in the station scene at the end of episode 1, Kiho standing in his uniform carrying a suitcase. No one, seriously no one, being away from their families and the rest of the world for months, not rush to home or go out partying as soon as they have their breaks. But the only thing he had in mind is just to stand outside the station in the snow? That 10 sec clip had so much weight! I realised it the 2nd time I watch the series, and I had tears in my eyes at that point realising what it meant, how much Kiho misses Mokha. It was already hinted at the beginning of episode 2, when Woohak vomited on the boat, that he was not Kiho. We did not know the volunteering was a regular thing yet at that point, but no one who got trained in the Marines would get sea sick in a boat trip on a sunny day.
This actor is fantastic, I cant belive there are people obsessed with not wanting him to be Ki Ho, his scenes with his father and how he cried were...wow, heartbraking and touching. He is a perfect ML
You will be surprised how in denial they are even after this. They still think there's a twist or something.. i think even after the drama is over they will still say woohak is kiho..lmao

Woo Hak (Chae Ho) is sweet indeed…but the connection between Mok ha and Ki Ho is rooted too deeply to even budge. Nothing that Woo Hak do could even come close to what Ki Ho did for Mok Ha. And the way Mok Ha relies on Ki Ho even when they were far apart from eo…what can come between them tbh.
I just watched the first two episodes last night, so shouldn't have spoiled it for myself, but that headline grabbed me and pulled me in. Can't wait to fall in love with THIS brother, since I already loved the other from what I saw last night.

How can there even be a confusion who is the real kiho, bo geul gives off so much kiho vibes from the very start, his over matured personality is very much kiho, and the way his eyes act is so real, the chemistry between them oh god it's so good.
I think a lot of people missing out the main points of episode 7 & 8. The fact that Kiho and his brother search for Mokha after knowing that she met their biological father mean that they are aware than Mokha knows that one of them is Kiho. And the fact that Bogeol notices that Mokha not even shocked when he told that they’re middle school ex classmates also show that he knows than Mokha knows that he’s Kiho. And the fact that when Mokha remains silence after her suspicions because she may be thinking that Kiho refuses to meet and tell her himself. She may be thinking that if this is what he wants, then he will get it. Overall, when Bogeol finally confessed that he is in fact in Kiho, he is not even taken aback with the fact that Mokha is angry of his nonchalant behaviour. He has been trying to protect both Mokha and his families, but he also cannot deny the fact that he wants Mokha to know who he really is. These two are now my comfort pair❤❤

While I don't mind her ending with Bo geol I do think the twist is ridiculous. Woo Hak wears glasses but in the flashback it's Bo geol wearing it. Also there is a lot of difference between young Ki-Ho and the present Ki-Ho. Anyway I am just glad he revealed it to her.
Glasses don't really mean anything though... and in 1st episode it is already clear that Kiho didn't lose memories.. Plust Woohak might need to wear glasses because of his head injury
Wearing glasses mean nothing because bo geol is surely using contact lenses, and his brother might need them now because of his brain injury. Many people, millions, wear glasses, and they are not Ki Ho because of that. And Bo Geol personality match the one of Ki Ho totally, it was obvious who he was
The first time I watched, I preferred Woo Hak (maybe because they kept making us feel bad for him), but on my rewatch, I began to see Bo geol as Ki-Ho more. It was a little deceptive of the writer to mislead and then spend so many episodes on the mis-direct. They could have fixed it a bit by giving Bo geol a haircut after the reveal and styling him more like the teenaged version. But in this scene here, I can now see his intense serious expression like very much like the young K-Ho.

I thought at first but there was more than enough evidence that he was Kiho. Plus- the scene right before in the restaurant was the sneak attack reveal. I think it would have been insulting to the audience as well as Mokha to make it too dramatic here. I think what makes it work is the acting- their chemistry. It’s a scene of “I know you know but I’m just saying it out loud because we both need to hear it” but that’s my take.

From the cell phone charge to jumping off a boat to survive on the island, taking down a boar, confronting the dad. And then she sits back and waits for confirmation. Anyways. Great series.
I didn't think this scene was much a reveal, for the viewers and the character itself. Mokha has pieced things up together, and tbh viewers already know who kiho is. It is meant to be a reunion and i think it deliver the warmth🥹

Been watching EU bins drama series kings affection, bramns and attorney woo with impressive performances from her. Unfortunately in this drama she disappointingly did not deliver as well only promoting her singing skills. The supposedly big emotional reveal of the real ki ho was a total anti climax as the viewers already know. Did watch all available episodes hoping for some improvement but thus far the drama kept getting worse as everytime there is this rosy ending of EU bin singing... The magic guitar appearing in the picnic scene. Ranjoos character of a wreck, chain smoker and a drunk...whining constantly was so annoying best fast forward to next OK scene if one can find any. Still watch it though as wu has character is beginning to look interesting.
It's a pity that you could not see how much effort Eun-bin made for this character and how brilliant she is. On the contrary, I can see all her outstanding acting in the drama series--the emotional expression of meeting Rangju for the first time, the cry of despair before jumping into the sea, the trembling with fear thinking of Kiho's father, the tears of regret for lying about the seagull's eggs...etc. There are so many iconic scenes created by Eun-bin, not to mention her great efforts to use a dialect naturally and learn how to sing beautifully and play the quitar. What's more, I don't see anything wrong to show singing skills since her role is a diva, who is supposed to be good at singing. She could have just lip-synched but she didn't. She chose to be trained, pracitce hard and sing all the songs by herself. Isn't it the most precious thing that an actor tries her best to do everything just to make the character feel more real? In my opinion, she has created a new era of her career through this drama. I hope people can be more generous with her and see the strengths and sincerity in her acting.

Glasses don't really mean anything though... and in 1st episode it is already clear that Kiho didn't lose memories.. Plust Woohak might need to wear glasses because of his head injury
Wearing glasses mean nothing because bo geol is surely using contact lenses, and his brother might need them now because of his brain injury. Many people, millions, wear glasses, and they are not Ki Ho because of that. And Bo Geol personality match the one of Ki Ho totally, it was obvious who he was
The first time I watched, I preferred Woo Hak (maybe because they kept making us feel bad for him), but on my rewatch, I began to see Bo geol as Ki-Ho more. It was a little deceptive of the writer to mislead and then spend so many episodes on the mis-direct. They could have fixed it a bit by giving Bo geol a haircut after the reveal and styling him more like the teenaged version. But in this scene here, I can now see his intense serious expression like very much like the young K-Ho.

Did anyone else think this reveal fell flat? The pivot would have more tension if she confronted him because she was gathering all the info.

I thought at first but there was more than enough evidence that he was Kiho. Plus- the scene right before in the restaurant was the sneak attack reveal. I think it would have been insulting to the audience as well as Mokha to make it too dramatic here. I think what makes it work is the acting- their chemistry. It’s a scene of “I know you know but I’m just saying it out loud because we both need to hear it” but that’s my take.
@@TheEmoImo Good points. More nuance with that approach. Not to drag this out. Just thought it didn’t Match how they wrote her character. She is scrappy. From the cell phone charge to jumping off a boat to survive on the island, taking down a boar, confronting the dad. And then she sits back and waits for confirmation. Anyways. Great series.
I didn't think this scene was much a reveal, for the viewers and the character itself. Mokha has pieced things up together, and tbh viewers already know who kiho is. It is meant to be a reunion and i think it deliver the warmth🥹

Been watching EU bins drama series kings affection, bramns and attorney woo with impressive performances from her. Unfortunately in this drama she disappointingly did not deliver as well only promoting her singing skills. The supposedly big emotional reveal of the real ki ho was a total anti climax as the viewers already know. Did watch all available episodes hoping for some improvement but thus far the drama kept getting worse as everytime there is this rosy ending of EU bin singing... The magic guitar appearing in the picnic scene. Ranjoos character of a wreck, chain smoker and a drunk...whining constantly was so annoying best fast forward to next OK scene if one can find any. Still watch it though as wu has character is beginning to look interesting.
It's a pity that you could not see how much effort Eun-bin made for this character and how brilliant she is. On the contrary, I can see all her outstanding acting in the drama series--the emotional expression of meeting Rangju for the first time, the cry of despair before jumping into the sea, the trembling with fear thinking of Kiho's father, the tears of regret for lying about the seagull's eggs...etc. There are so many iconic scenes created by Eun-bin, not to mention her great efforts to use a dialect naturally and learn how to sing beautifully and play the quitar. What's more, I don't see anything wrong to show singing skills since her role is a diva, who is supposed to be good at singing. She could have just lip-synched but she didn't. She chose to be trained, pracitce hard and sing all the songs by herself. Isn't it the most precious thing that an actor tries her best to do everything just to make the character feel more real? In my opinion, she has created a new era of her career through this drama. I hope people can be more generous with her and see the strengths and sincerity in her acting.
