So many genres in the the EDM scene come and go, some fade away with a whimper and some burst onto the science with a bang… But Psytrance and Goa Trance - it’s been absolutely banging from way back in the mid 90’s to present day - the bpm is pretty much the only thing that’s changed but it’s still as easily recognisable, easy to get into / lost in but most of all it still has that driving power from drop to drop. I f**king love it. Always have and always will 💚💜❤️

This is so awesome I have just recently in the past month discovered astrix and vini vici with UMF 2022 and then their 2019-20 sets, respectively and I was so enthralled I've been trying to find more of that and this is really hitting the spot. True to old school form,it was in a warehouse,clandestine,and put on by an at the time one man production Co. Called "Ultra World". "Spirit ual movement was the name. It didn't take long to find something of a sense of family in the scene; a sort of updated version of the"Acid tests" of the 60's. A steady supply of "empathogens" made readily evident the code of the movement: Peace, Love, Unity and Respect;PLUR! The fashion, dance and sounds, however,reflected more of an urban almost Hip Hop sensibility. Since the majority of parties were always at night, from '92 to '96 I was a pierced vampire of Love with the "handle" of Hippie Dave. It really tickles me to see that all these years later the scene has come around to much more earthy, organic tribal stomp type of get down. So, ya', all you vegetarian children of Jah,Rave On! Peace, Love, Unity and Respect...
