  • The hood has been flooded now we're going to sand it down with 40 grit using an 8" orbital sander. The point of the flood is to apply more body filler than you need so that you can sand it down to the metal as one panel. This has proven to be the fastest and most effective method of doing body work. We're also going to show what to do when there's a low in the flood 🔥

Chad you are right about the race car. I've seen photos of radical gassers from back in the 60's. They did exist and I believe the car is headed in the right direction. If you were building this car in the 60's it would've been photographed for sure

Here in Taiwan, it is illegal to reshape a vehicle (car, scooter, motorcycle), to mod it any way other than cosmetic styling (paint, rims, skins). Even have laws on how loud the muffler sounds can be. So, watching you take full liberty to create what you envision is truly a kind of freedom others do not have. Really a pleasure to see your creative mind at work. Thank you.

Chad you have a vision in your head as to how you want it to look like . as you build you also see problems on the way and correct them as you see fit . Not alot of people can do this and thats what set you out from others keep up the great work I enjoy the videos you and Jolene put out there is always a learning lessons in there ...

Hi Chad who cares what people think ? If you like it and you can build it get it done ! Most people that don’t like it they couldn’t do it them self …. I’ve never seen a person get so much done in a day ! I chopped my 31 Ford took me 5 hrs to lay it out 20 minutes to cut and 4 hrs to weld back most people don’t get it ! Keep up the great work! No worries about what people think ! I’ve learned a lot watching your utubes it makes me motivated to work on my car thanks!!

I used to make my own body fill sometimes as a kid when I used to make Radio Controlled boats. Just use resin and talcum/baby powder…mix to what consistency you want…add hardener and away you go. Best part….smells great when you sand it 🤣👍

There is nothing wrong with the design because it's yours and it looks like your concept, your execution based on what you want the car to do. The biggest difference between other well known car builders an you Chad is imagination and creative freedom. You let the vehicle speak to you and you respond with passion. This is my honest opinion of what I see when I watch you working. I am totally confident that this car will be another masterpiece. stay safe J

Chad those u-bolts for the diff look more like exhaust clamps, they don't look heavy enough to hold the diff to the frame! Just a thought but even if you weld the diff to the frame the u-bolts look too light duty. Also are you going to cut the rear of the body to make the rest of the car?
