Inarizaki is possibly my favorite oppositional team. I love Oikawa the most of all the characters, and guys like Bokuto, Iwa, Akashi and Kenma all have a place in my heart, but this entire team dynamic (especially as a mirror of Karasuno) is something else.
Karasuno will always have a special place in my heart, but Inarizaki is my absolute favorite school. I also started out kind of disliking Atsumu, but he is now my favorite along with Hinata. I actually have a poster of the motto "we don't need the memories" because it's so damn inspiring. Seriously this school is just cool, and this match is awesome, even more awesome in the manga because the anime did cut a couple of things and have some production issues.
Inarizaki's probably my favorite non-Karasuno team!!! They're like an alternate-reality Karasuno, where they never became "flightless crows," and weren't hampered by memories of lost glory. You'll see them as the season goes on, but pretty much every Karasuno player has a "mirror image" on Inarizaki. Hell, even their uniforms are super similar (both in color, and the traditional kanji font on the back looks a lot like the back of Karasuno's jackets). Karasuno vs. Inarizaki is by far my favorite match in the whole series (including the manga). It has so many crazy twists and turns, great little backstory flashbacks, and interesting player 1v1s within the game. Hope you enjoy!!
I was confused by the scene with Tanaka hearing Ennoshita's voice saying "you have a chance" too my first watch, because there was an extra scene at the end of the previous episode.
Y'all might've missed it but hinata did the super jump hoshiyumi does. So he just got super excited and forgot to spike the ball. But just wait my tangerine boy lol is on his way!!
I don't know why the anime directed it like that but in the manga it is quite clear that he jumped higher than usual and that Kageyama's set was lower than his touch point because of Hinata's improved jump. It was less he forgot to hit and more like he couldn't have hit the ball anyway because it wouldn't connect with his palm.

no Ushiwaka plays for Shiratorizawa and they lost to Inarizaki. Inarizaki then go on to lose to Itachiyama in the finals - and hence come second.
