Hi Alee, that video was excerpted from th-cam.com/video/koH9-qJKFIY/w-d-xo.html My copy of the data was lost with a hard drive crash. I may have somewhere, If I am able to find it I will let you know. The application used 3 or 4 fact tables, as I recall. Would you only want the case mix index one?
I was able to use your dashboards as a guide to grab my data and create similar dashboards -- really, really great presentation of information. Especially the radar chart! Thanks for sharing this, and the longer version.
My apologies for the delay--I ended up creating a dashboard of trends of payment by MDC and DRG groups rather than CMI--it was what the client seemed to prefer for this first pass at a dashboard. I'm using Tableau and I am relatively novice. I have been looking at claims data and it's rather sparse, so the neat pentagonal representation of CMI didn't work for my data. Instead of a separate chart of case mix by financial class, I have financial class as a drop down option view of the entire report. I am not able to paste a screen shot in this comment box but am happy to share via email.
MDC and DRG are dimension values, CMI is a measure, thus this is "apples and oranges" and can't be compared. If you do this as a cube in SSAS, which is what I did, Tableau can connect to that cube and will totally understand it.
Do you have the dataset that sits behind these reports? I would love to make something similar, using your dataset as a guide

Oh, please send a screen shot of your dashboard? I'd love to see it.
