Other than the bland exterior styling the Accord is still one of the best sedans on the market. I've owned five of them since 1981 and all of them were excellent vehicles.
What is the purpose of remote start? I don't understand because many will turn off as soon as you open the door, then you just have to start it all over again. 🤔
While this Accord generation is hardly the best design in Accord history (my vote is for the 1989 pop-up headlights style), this design is much better than the 2007-2011 designs. The squarish taillights and then the "jellybean" style of the body during those years turned me off completely. I have a 2023 EX-L and it drives fantastically. I will say, though, it actually feels smaller inside than the 10th generation from 2018-2022. The return to column shifter was a mistake because it takes up space and interferes with drinks and phone access. Push buttons were more efficient.
I'm glad that the Accord lineup has an EX-L hybrid trim because the other Honda hybrid models are only in the Sport trims now. Why? The CR-V and Civic hybrids should have an EX or EX-L option for buyers who don't want black wheels or black superficial trim elements. No matter how you package Honda's, they are not true "sports" cars unless they are Type - R or SI models.
Just bought my 24 Accord LX yesterday and loving it so far! Great review, very accurate. 👍🏽
Thank you! And Congrats on your new ride!

my dad had a 1981 Accord new. great car!
They ate great vehicles, no questions. I wish they "spiced" it up a bit.
We just got our first Accord EX last weekend 😀
Congratulations!

Mine (on Pilot) stays on, you have to press brake pedal and start button to drive.

My favirite was the 2013 Accord Sedan with V6. Miss that engine
I got me that same color and same from I Love it
Very sensible sedan. Congrats!
Same trim...really different drive from others of the class from previous years
No Blind Spot!! Good to know
You need to step up to EX model.
I like your vids Matt & I will buy this car 1 day.
Of course. I hope you buy them all 😅
@@MattTheCarguyYeah, Just like in Pokemon shows & movies of course.
It’s the best built car for the price
Not bad at all. A bit boring but the quality is there.
the vents under the front seats for rear passengers are just for heat only, not A/C, right?
Why would it only be for heat? I havent check but that would make no sense.
Does this have a sport mode?
It has a s drive by the shifter
They should just make a higher trim with the 1.5t prob get more sales not everyone wants a hybrid 🤣
Or the 2.0T which most people miss.
@@MattTheCarguy That’s what I have now 2.0t sport pretty fun and quick for its class Honda wants me to trade it in so bad 🤣🤣
@@saul45100 i bet! Make sure you get top dollar for it!
