  • Razom sits down with Natalya Pasichnyk, who is one of the organizers of E"UROPEAN FESTIVAL: Ukrainian Spring" in Stockholm, Sweden. This was their second year of the festival with the theme "Reflections in each other's eyes" - exploring new perspectives on Ukraine's integral place in European cultural heritage and highlights this connection.     Natalya is a renowned award winning pianist - holding awards from Fifth Nordic Piano Competition in Nyborg (Denmark, 1998), the World Piano Competition in Cincinatti (USA, 1999), and in 2001 she was awarded a special prize at the International Piano Competition Umberto Micheli in Milan, Italy. She has taught at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Natalya is a frequent jury member of different international piano competitions and regularly teaches at masterclasses, and founder of the Ostroh International Chamber Music Course. She is the founder (2014) and Director of the Ukrainian Institute in Sweden and artistic leader of several music festivals over the years (e.g., European Festival: Ukrainian Spring). In June 2021 she received her Doctor of Arts title for her project on George Crumb’s Makrokosmos, and in June 2023 she earned the PhD degree in artistic research at the Grieg Academy, University of Bergen for her project Rethinking WTC: A New Interpretation of the Well-Tempered Clavier by J.
