They look great...even the finished product...I struggle to get my battle in a box done...could you either do a tutorial on how you painted them...or provide a color list for both Union and Confederate...would greatly appreciate it and perhaps I will challenge myself as well...
Ibn Astartes thanks buddy. I have a playlist for both armies and I go through the paints I used in a couple of them. I can’t remember myself without looking at them 😂😂😂.
The 3 inch ordinance rifle and the Parrot rifle were black. Not bronze. Except for a battery of James guns that looked like the Ordinance rife. Two examples at Gettysburg.
Carl thanks buddy. I have a playlist for the ACW union troops where I do a painting challenge to see how many I can paint in a week. I run through all the colours I used in one of them videos.
Hi Leon, If you don't mind me asking, what paints are you using to paint each of the metal & metallic items on each of the figures such as the cannons, trumpets, swords & hilts etc. Cheers, my friend!
Patrick L hi mate. I think you can use Sharp Practice for ACW but I’m not 100% sure about that. Not much help sorry 😐. I’m not aware of any other rule sets out there.
Turn the volume up. I can barely hear. 👍
Each base is indeed a little diorama and you’ve done very well!
Thanks buddy

Great looking force. I really like the red-pants unit. And yes- you have done well with the bases there. Impressed :)
Cheers,
Trist.
thanks buddy
Hi Leon, had a chance to go back over some archive, glad I did they look lovely.
cheers mate
I love your flesh tones. 3 steps? What is your color scheme please?
Thanks buddy. I use the Panzer aces triad. Shadow flesh. Flesh base. Highlights flesh on these guys
Very nice! Love the basing as well.
Stig ofthe Dump cheers mate. I have a thing about bases lol. I feel a lot of nice minis get let down with poor basing.
Well done!
Thanks buddy
love these vids, they make me think I'm a failure!
Thanks mate, Not sure how to respond lol, I have a bit of a run through how i painted them in one of the previous videos,

Thanks buddy. I’ll paint them black

beautiful! i gotta get some flowers for my next project..
Thanks mate, Yeah the flower tufts seem to bring bases to life,I can't have a base without them now lol

Very nice indeed mate, you are painting machine lol.
Liberator240 haha cheers buddy. Normal service has been resumed now. Was nice to get so many done at once though.
Very nice indeed....the general actually looks like Stonewall Jackson from 'Gods and Generals'.
haha yes thats what I thought too
Since black powder does require such a large force, is there a rule set that is easier to get into and doesn’t require 100-300 figures in an army?

Leon T66 no I have been researching Sharp Practice and that might be my go to. Thank you sir and great videos!
What reds do you suggest?
I use Vellejo flat red. Then the ink darkens it so highlight first with the flat red again and after with Vellejo Scarlet.
