I used to play Gran Turismo a lot in early 2000's, my first GT game was 2 because the older brother of my ex-neighbor talked about Suzuki's Escudo Pikes Peak and that made me buying it, I still have the original game but my PSX stopped working, my last GT game was 5, I bought the Academy Edition in 2013 when I bought my PS3, a year later I bought my PS4 and then I sold my PS3 with all of my games, I regret it every day. Luckily my cousin has a PS3 but he doesn't play anymore and I asked him if could give it to me and said yes but problem is: he is living in Germany and I live in Portugal and I will only see him in August, I have been buying some PS3 games but I have to by them from another Country because where I live it is very hard to find them, so far I managed to find Sniper Elite V2, Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy and Gran Turismo 5 Collector's Edition (it came with the game and a book) but I already had GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption and GTA Episodes from Liberty City but I can't play them. :/ Oh and by the way, I used to wall ride in Gran Turismo all the time. XD

For Gran Turismo Sport you will need Internet connection. I think it has Career mode but I think it it's Offline, I'm not sure.

There's a lot of mixed opinions about Sport, I liked GT6 but it just felt like an enhanced GT5. GT6 Should've been on PS4. And GT Sport just doesn't feel like Gran Turismo.

But in Japan, 'No, we don't call them that, let's call them Demio, whatever we call the 3 and Atenza'. Toyota calls the Yaris the Vitz and Honda names their hatch the Fit (which we call the Jazz). And another example, Nissan calls the 350/370Z the Fairlady. And another car, it's either called a Chaser or Soarer.

@@gunawangunawansantoso4122 Career Mode in GT games usually and has always been offline with special events. You only need internet connection to install patches and software firmware updates for the game.
In GT6, I've played every map, gathered every star from all events, and most gold challenges except some of the hardest and latest challenges, and some of the coffee breaks I couldn't gold no matter what. I have 20 million in credits and almost every car I want. I basically just like racing a Suzuki Swift or a Neon SRT4 in some basic races. The Vettel challenges are less interesting for "fun" as they are super hectic, and really hard to gold (silvered them all with dual shock controller). Overall 5/5 game, but it NEEDS more offline content and races. Like custom race or random race, or seasonals. And just more progression races with better looot.. I meean credits. Why the online was shut down? Why? I want to make a race for mid-field race track. I want to race basic cars, not just super cars or vision GT cars. I want custom maps, I want local tracks from Finland like Ahvenisto. Oh well, I guess I could start over the game. What GT6 could also improve is really a world map of the events, and more long tracks like the Sierra map, and with more races in traffic or open world. Now you can't pick any of your cars for those Sierra races, just the ones given. But why not any car? I just want to drive some basic BMW 120i or Honda Accord R '00 fast. Not some lame supercars like Ferraris or Lambos, which are boring.
Just recently starting playing this on ps3. Not as good as 5 imo.. the track and car selection is awesome but hate the way career mode is set and the fact they have shortened the endurance races and took away certain features that made older gt"s awesome to play .. overall, playable and tolerable but not as great as previous instalments by any means

The red bull x2014 junior championship is impossible to pass because the AI cars are glued to the race line and never wipe out when going around corners fast also if you bump into them you bounce off and they keep right on going AI is very unrealistic I can win any other race no problem
I bought this one a few years ago, but I absolutely hate it. Gran Turismo 5 has a better layout design, and it doesn't feel NEARLY as restrictive. In 5, as long as the car itself meets the racing requirements (right tires, if it's front/mid engine, etc) you can use any car. In this game.... No. You don't get to do that. You have to have these specific cars, in this specific race, and they must have these exact driving points. Like, what a fucking mess. Why did they start making such ridiculous decisions? If I want a Ford GT40 to race against a bunch of lower class cars, thats me (the player) decision. Making all these rules is a slap in the face to people that want to PLAY the game. Don't start changing shit that wasn't broken in the first place. Just looking at this game pisses me off.

The sound is really disappointing if you ask me, how could they mess it up so badly?
tbh i really hate the career mode in gt5, the leveling system is so atrocious and the license tests didn't felt like you earned your license
