With a new season comes big changes! The 2023 Monster Truck Wars season opener provided a couple of firsts. Most notably, this event marked Shark Attack's first public appearance, a surprise to everyone in attendance. This was also the first appearance for Reptoid under Harper ownership, and the debut performance for its driver (Ken Wyatt). Finally, this was the first time Sheriff ran on the former El Oso Loco and Bear Foot chassis. While not technically a first, Preston Pèrez piloted Outlaw on the original Toxic chassis. This event was jam packed with headlines and excitement, so I hope you enjoy the 2023 season opener of Monster Truck Wars!

I just attended a monster wars tonight in Martin TN and those 4 trucks was there. The guy driving reptoid tonight was actually a veteran driver from tnt tuff Traxx in 1990 Greg Holbrook nickname "the kid" He drove equalizer truck when Bigfoot 8 was banned. I wish I could have talked to him and picked his brain about those days.
