Vince had sold the 2 hr time slot for 1 million to Crocketts, Vince was almost bankrupt and used the money to save the WWF, and to pay for the First Wrestlemania. The sale to JCP saved the WWF, if Crockett had known that fact and held out from buying the time slot Vince may have gone out of business and saved old school wrestling
