Being a missionary is a great responsibility! The missionary must have great energy, fortitude, and courage. Wherever the missionary goes, no matter what part of the world he or she is in, he or she must spread the Word. Locals must understand what the missionary is telling them. The missionary must get the Word right! Therefore, every missionary must know the language of the local people! To everyone who is going on a mission or preparing for one, I would like to recommend a very good workshop by Yury Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes: Practical Tips for Learning Foreign Language. This wonderful book will give you answers how to properly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book gives answers to many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. I wish you good luck in your important work!

    From ‘The Peace Country’
Most think and believe it is impossible to have peace within nations and between nations, but just imagine what the world would be like if all those who call themselves Christians loved Jesus as their Almighty God. To those who love Jesus, show the world that you love your neighbor as yourself because He is your cornerstone. It is written that “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” if you love God. Those who do not love their neighbor as themselves do not love God. Jesus said, “This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you” --- “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.” < John 15:12-14.
”You shall love your God with all your heart and all your soul, and all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment, and the second, like it, is this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” < Mark 12:30-31
Leviticus 19:32 - 34 > “You shall rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God. And if a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. But the stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; For you were a stranger in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”
Leviticus 19:18 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”Zechariah 8:17 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”
. If you really fulfill THE ROYAL LAW according to the scriptures, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. < James 2:8-9
Galatians 5:4 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”Romans 13:9 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”Luke 10:27 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”Matthew 22:39 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”Matthew 19:19 > “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”
1 John 3:11 > “For this is the message you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.”
1 John 3:18 > “My little children, let us not love in word or tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
1 John 4:8 > “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
1 John 4:16 > “---. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”
1 John 3:9 > “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” Matthew 12:26 > “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” --- > “--- Therefore pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. ---.” < Matthew 6:5-13. The ONLY WAY to have Peace within nations and between nations is that they must keep the commandments of Jesus. Jesus my God who sits on the throne > (Rev. 21:5-7 “--- I will make all things new.”) is the only cornerstone to build from to make a peaceful world. Let it be known! - Amen“He shall judge between the nations, and shall rebuke many people, they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” < (Isaiah 2:4 and Micah 4:3)Soon that day will come when “The Kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord (Jesus the Alpha and the Omega), and of His Christ, He shall reign forever and ever!” < (Rev. 11:15)

Very informative, however FYI... St. John Chrysostom who lived in the fourth century mentioned the presence of Africans (Kush=Ethiopia) in the Holy City on the day of Pentecost. Also in the Bible; the story of his conversion to Christianity is recounted in Acts 8. The North and east African counties were Christians before most Europeans.

I found this rather Disappointing. Obliviously Christianity in Africa is a broad subject.
I was hoping for more Focus on Pre-Constantine or at least Justinian early History.
And also on that early History south of what Rome Controlled, or at least within it people who indisputably indigenous. Limiting the early History to Greco-Roman Greek and and Latin speaking Church Father who happened to live there only further reinforces the Western bias of how we think of Christian History.

Understandable but that's really hard to do in a 30 minute video. There are some excellent Pre-Constantine videos. Go search Ryan Reeves video on "Monasticism
". It addresses a lot of the Desert Christians in Egypt

@kuundere-kun It's been 5 years, but in case you're curious and still aware of this thread, Jacobsen has a book called "Global Gospel" that goes more in depth.
