See the Chili Queen in action at Ally Pally London Foodies Festival - August 28th 2017! There are 12 contestants to start with and they drop out as the heat levels get to stupid levels!
The competition starts with a tasty jalapeno and ends with a dreaded chilli extract ridden sauce too hot for words! Along the way there are Bhut Jolokias, Trinidad Scorpions, loads of Habaneros and of course the hottest chilli in the world - the Carolina Reaper... dried, not fresh, to effectively double its sting!
This is the 19th Chilli Eating Challenge the Chilli Queen Shahina Zeenat Waseem has entered... can she continue her undefeated record?
Watch out for some well-known finalists of recent Master Chef fame too!

How long do you need to recuperate after an event like this on average?
About half an hour and I feel OK again... but many people will not get better for a couple of days! In my third competition the big tough security guard had to call in sick the next day! xx

Never! They offer milk... as soon as any milk enters your mouth you are eliminated! This means yu usually burn for over an hour to win one of these comps! xx

Each round the chillies are the same type, but even then someone could be unlucky and get a 'rogue'!

I try to do as many as possible! I did 3 inn 3 days 3 times in 2017! It is painful but fun!

The Clifton Chilli Club are like Carolina Reapers! Awesome and Hottttttttt! But this was definitely no joke! The hosts Martin and Lewis are great, they really check the rules and are strict, they take it seriously. I have been in some competitions where the hosts don't even check if contestants are eating the whole chilli to the stalk and so people get through each round too easily and I have seen races where the wrong person is declared the winner! If there is a comp to be done, then it should be done properly - that's what I say! Thanks for watching the video, Amy. xxx

Amy Mahoney - I remember Sid! In my fourth competition out of the 23 that I have won, way back in 2015 at Reading, Sid and I had a 'joint-win'! She is great. 💪

Thanks for watching, it means a lot! I understand this tactic you speak of can rattle some feathers... there is no easy way to win... you would probably enjoy Episode 2! The contestants in that one eat theirs more slowly so I end up eating all the peppers first! Cheating is a harsh word though my friend, that is something I would never do :( I hope you are well and I hope you had fun watching xxx
