TWSBI is probably the best value in fountain pens today. They're as well-made as Sailor or Pilot pens, and about 1/4 the price. It just takes a little adjusting to the steel nib, which doesn't flex as much as a gold nib. I especially like their Mini pens; the cap screws onto the tail of the pen if you prefer a longer pen, or you can leave the cap off if you prefer a shorter pen.
That's interesting about the stone paper notebook at 6:35--I wonder if the paper is made from pressed rock wool fibers or similar (rock wool being made by melting rock down to basically flowing lava, where it's stretched into small fibers using hot air from a blast furnace, cooled, and bunched into wool-like bales --Roxul AFB in-wall insulation uses rock wool extensively).

I was intrigued by the possibility of you having used the stone paper with various pens. Though this particular one didn't pan out as well, have you tried any other pens on the paper and if so was it dependent on the nib size or rather the flow of pens intended utility? Just trying to pick your brain and seek if you possibly have any ideal marriages with paper type and pen brands/sizes. Appreciate your time and all your videos, I'm a new comer but they are my favorite
I have not used it much since my original disappointment, but I have a suspicion that it will be great for ball pens, especially gel type roller balls. The paper feels very strange, and it also is capable of stretching if you attempt to pull it apart. It just seems so creepy to someone like me that likes real paper. Later, if I think about it, I'm going to remove a page and put a match to it to see how it burns compared to real paper.....hmmmm, wonder if that would make a good video? Thanks for commenting!
Wow didnt know that New York City was almost twice as highly populated as Los Angeles and nearly 4 to 8 times more than most of the others. Amazing! I would have thought LA was number one since it's got such popular tech and entertainment industries, plus a lot of Mexican immigrants, but I guess not! New York City's almost half (300 sq. miles) the size of LA (500 sq. miles), but I guess its people enjoy the jam-packed city vibe.

It was to show and explain a device that you have, I don't recall the exact name but it was the keyboard that can hold 8 documents at a time. It was battery operated and had ports for computer usage. I understand that it may be far too personal for what you're willing to do, but ASMR massage videos are pretty awesome and something you may want to consider.
your voice gets a little loud sometimes even though you aren't speaking loudly.. perhaps you are speaking close to the mic? otherwise, awesome video and love the handwriting!
+christopher almond His entire channel is based around pens (for the most part), so what are his basics? And many others, like myself, love the pens. They are a really cool hobby and sound great for asmr, with the added bonus of his handwriting being beautiful. I don't have any pens like this myself, but I find these pens to just be fascinating.

I've gotta say that I think your interest in pens is really cool. I think everyone should have a collection hobby like this. Mine is playing cards.

My TWSBI eco wrote very dry as well. I tuned the nib a bit and now it writes great! I used Noodlers Navajo Turquoise as an ink.

I’m thinking about getting the LAMY Safari/ Al-Star , TESBI ECO, Pilot Metropolitan, and many a Wing Sung 698 for my first Fountain Pen
I love my Lamy Joy and my Lamy Safari. I would recommend either.
