Amazon "trusts" its customers and will always refund the FULL Amount. When you sell and buy liquidations, this is part of the business. Its called "The cost of doing business"
Having the mentality of, it’s the, “Cost of doing business” is what empowers the scammers. The problem is that 60% of all sales on Amazon come from 3rd party sellers and Amazon makes the 3rd party sellers refund in full no matter what. So Amazon is stealing from the 3rd party sellers to allow customers to commit bait & switch fraud. That is the main problem at hand. Amazon steals from 3rd party sellers to pay fraud customers AND Amazon keeps the selling fees no matter what so they get their cut of the profits no matter what. 3rd party sellers lose all the money, customers steal the item and Amazon still gets to keep their cut of the selling fees. Then Amazon liquidates the customer bait & switch fraud items that are sold and are marketed at full MSRP value at liquidation which is a form of fraud by Amazon since they allowed the theft to happen in the first place.
@@FranchiseKicks Agreed. But if you complain to Amazon it will fall on deaf ears. MSRP is a bogus price created to make you think your getting a deal. Buyers get discounts for how much they buy and the more they buy, the bigger the discount. This is why the small business can’t compete. They also give discounts for paying on time. I can’t remember exactly, but items only need to be off sale for 1 day every out of 60, I think it is. Having worked retail for over 30 years, I can say it’s rare for something to be marketed at MSRP.
Yes exactly you can see that on cars. I was at a dealer with a family member and each paper taped into each rear car window had the msrp in big numbers and the sale price little. But the msrp is bogus, I agree with you.
two hundred dollar scam. steal the cheap headphones. buy the beats with the tax refund debit card, put the cheap ones in the box so the tax refund card gets restored and then they get credit for the beats and you can sell the beats at the local fence(legal pawn shop) and you can take the fifty bucks the pawn shop gave you and go buy some heroin. I used to live next door to scammers. It is a lot of work. Too much work avoiding having a job.
from my experience wont be the drug heads, they would do it with a 500-600dollar per of headsets, beats have always been an issue because they are a high end brand advertised to morons as the must have fashion item (much better headphones on the market), had more trouble with knock of beats and scams (and the amount of beatings I was offered for calling people out on them) then I ever did for Bose or B&o;
If Franchise thinks that Amazon lets people return $1 headphones in lieu of the $300 headphones they actually received, well, Franchise doesn’t have a seller account on Amazon or h hasn’t read the contractual obligations a seller has with Amazon. At the very least the returner of an item that isn’t what as received (particularly one that is blatant theft) gets a stern warning, their account is flagged, and they are booted from Amazon if the slightest problem arises again. And that is at the very least. In actuality, the customer returning the item never receives a dime back for their “return.” Every item returned is videoed as it is reopened at Amazon’s return warehouse. If there are any perceived problems, the video is stored on one of our 10Tb drives. If everything is kosher, the system overwrites the video. Amazon is trained to discern knock-offs from authentic, and they are awfully good at this discernment on items that fit within a certain historical return that falls within a statistical threshold. Amazon is not ripping off any liquidator. If anything, the liquidator is ripping of the reseller. All these palleted return items are absolutely worthless to Amazon (i.e., Amazon , through their advanced algorithms and databases that would rival the SSA’s, know within in a degree of absolute certainty, that even with their ability to ship items at or below a quarter of a dollar, there is no absolutely no profit to be had). In addition, the buyers of these return pallets are required to sign legal acknowledgements stating as much. And folks like Clint sign or impolitely acknowledges a similar contract. I call it the Contract of Guaranteed Loss. It’s known by many others. Many factors contribute to the Amazon’s value analysis. Mindful thought or analysis by an unskilled Amazon laborer is not one of them. Take the Solo 3 Wireless headphone, for a good example of what Amazon keeps and what they sell to liquidators for spare parts. Do a quick search to see how many USED (in varying states of condition) are for sale, at this very moment, by ‘Amazon Warehouse,” a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon Corp. A quick click-through of the inventory gathering dust at Amazon’s warehouse shows the number to be more than 50. The cheapest I saw was $112.50 in “USED - BUT ACCEPTABLE” condition, for the Rose Gold set. If these headphones sit there for a year, unsold, Amazon then liquidates. Now, what are the chances of a liquidator, or reseller, to get even $50 for such a set if Amazon, with their hundreds of millions monthly clicks and millions of materialistic folks’ eyeballs , cannot seem to find a buyer. My point is, even if these Beats were actually in the box, as Clint hoped, they would be worth little more than what he received - nothing close to even $50, if they even worked. And if they were worth more than $50 and Amazon somehow threw them in this palleted trash bins by mistake (does not happen; software makes the decisions, not humans), the liquidator would pull the box before is ever made its way into the mound of trash that Clint opens in all of his videos. Part of me (especially here recently with the Apple Watch video, this Beats headphones video, and the accompanying click-bait titles and thumbnail pictures) thinks that these boxes that Clint purports to open, straight from the liquidator, are in-fact packaged by Clint himself. @@FranchiseKicks hit a nerve? You're right reselling isn't scamming, charging some of the prices you do is. I'M the dramatic one huh? Yet your reaction to what happened was the definition of drama. It's pallet liquidation from Amazon, you better than anyone know that stuff happens.
Its not normal for the color of the controller to be different than what is inside. Which means each time you get a different color its probably the buying swapping out their old broken controller for a new one or swapping out one worth less for a brand new one.
Just wondering, do you ever see boxes with musical instruments? My son's band instructor was interested in pallets if he could perhaps find something to help the program.

Just a heads up, the colors on the xbox one controller should always match the box, you can also verify via serial number on the box verse the serial number inside the battery area. These are likely customer scam returns to replace non working controllers. That or Amazon is replacing boxes.

do these liquidations include stuff shipped by amazon sold by 3rd parties? cause occaisionally you get the wrong item from 3rd parties in the right packaging
That last item had the word "Defective" written in ink. That brings up the question, how many of these items are defective once the camera is turned off and you test them? That is why I do not normally buy from resellers. I assume all the risk on stuff that should not have even been on the sales floor to start with. I am not suggesting that you are doing this. By the time I got home I kid you not, my money was already showing in my account!
First, Clint didn't buy the pallet from Amazon. Secondly, you have no idea whether or not they caught the customer fraud. They would still liquidate whatever was returned.
@@gingerandcloves First, you don't know whether or not the MSRP is calculated based on the box rather than the contents. Secondly, that's the nature of liquidation merchandise. There is no guarantee of the value of what's included. The pallet buyer gets exactly what they paid for.

Amazon isn’t necessarily “letting” people scam them, if you send something back broken or flat out steal it they have your credit card on file, they more than likely charged the customer after they found out
i feel your frustrations on the theft. i know you know, things like that go on along with used ect. But, its sad to see people out there cant be honest. Whether its used, broken or missing... people need to be honest and if the item broken when received, then return it. But stealing is not cool or using it and then returning it after months of use. Its rude and not being considerate of fellow shoppers. Thats why prices go up every where, even in the stores. A lot due to theft. Someone has to pay for the theft, which businesses in turn put it back on consumers.
I’m confused as to how a company could tell you that you can’t sell their items. I understand it competition but in a free market society if you already have it you can do whatever you want with it. If that was the case then why don’t all companies do that because on Amazon people sell things that I’m sure is costing the company money. Just trying to figure out how that work
No. He bought these pallets knowing that it's a possibility that what he buys is broken or maybe even not there. It's why he can get a box full of product worth $2,000 for less than $300.
You can’t complain to Amazon about the conditions or missing products but if Amazon sets the MSRP as actual price and not as could be the MSRP then you have a legitimate complaint against them for falsifying the MSRP.
Why are you so mad about the beats headphones when you got the pallet so cheap in the first place? This isn't your first rodeo, you know what to expect and know the consequences of buying these pallets.
The controllers were both scam returns too. They bought new controllers and returned their old ones. Thats why the box didn't match either controller. The first controller was a call of duty advanced warfare controller from the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015. Amazon needs to check their returns.
Sorry to say this Clint, but you have a lot of thieves in the US. Here in the UK we probably have the same but you simply wouldn't get away with this. Amazon usually wait for your return and inspect it before refunding.
The fake returns totally blows, u still made profits so it's all good. Be careful on those xbox 1 controllers my buddy got on in a pallet and it was a wired xbox 1 controller with the cord removed.
Amazon gives your money back as soon as the return tracking shows UPS or whoever is transporting it has it in their hands. does Amazon ever check them and recharge customers, does not seems like it.
I think that too. Also they are most likely knock offs. The knock offs suck compared to the official ones. At least that's my experience with PS3 controllers.

they dont care, they have no interest in taking the time to inspect all returns when they know they are just going into the return center for selling in their pallets, as soon as the item is returned, they have already written off the item and made a percentage back and then another percentage is made back by resale of the pallets, just like walmart does and all other major retailers, walmart in fact will (at least in my area) give you a 50$ gift card if you return something and put up a stink about their poor treatment ...blah blah... just to keep the customer happy and people having a good overall feeling about the store.. it literally costs them nothing versus what they make a day
Why do you assume that Amazon didn't catch it? In any case they still need to dispose of what was received. It's not like it can be resold by them.
Fuck Walmart
I guess opening the box is too much work for Amazon employee to check to see if right item is returned, Lazy.
Your face when you said these aren't beat's 🤣 love the videos dudes keep going ✌️🤘
You didn't have to vocalise your thoughts, Clint. We heard them anyway. So glad things picked up after those scams. Blessings
Hello where or what do you go to buy the amazon boxes will mystery boxes at or pallets can you help me out
Scams people with the prices he charges or tries to charge for these items, THEN gets pissed when he's on the other end of a scam. get over it. In a liquidation pallet you have to know that stuff can happen.
Reselling items is not scamming. Stop with the over reach to create fake drama.
Love the videos keep up the good work, all the best from Ireland.
I am gobsmacked about those beats headphones! I can’t believe that Amazon don’t check their returns properly and they allow this to happen. This is disgusting. Thieving bastards. Excuse my language but I find that shocking as now the customer is laughing. If everyone done that to Amazon they would be up shit creek without a paddle
So when amazon gives the suggested msrp that would have been off what the beats cost would have been if it was not trash inside. This gave so much value in your statement about NOT spending over 20% of the total. Thanks for the great info!!
Just a heads up, the colors on the xbox one controller should always match the box, you can also verify via serial number on the box verse the serial number inside the battery area. These are likely customer scam returns to replace non working controllers. That or Amazon is replacing boxes.
I love Edward scissor hands soundtrack !!!!! Reminds me of Christmas 🎄
Good pallet !!!! The 2 let down scams apart from that there was still good stuff in there ! Never miss a vid love from uk 🇬🇧
Clint, just picked up a few Amazon return pallets up your way and had same issue with headphones, 5 out of 12 were not what they should be.
Was it the place with the “check in cage"
Franchise Kicks how did you know! We ended up ok but boy karma is going to get the dishonest theifs. You been over to laSpada’s for some logs? That place was fantastic! Love your channel, inspired me to start my own, just for toys not doing pallet videos like you, you have that down
Cheers
I love your videos. I wanted to do this, but my parents said you shouldn’t trust those websites, they are scams. What should I say to them that would influence them to let me do it?
I’m shocked that Amazon don’t check high ticket items such as those Beats! Well done Clint for keeping your cool! 😀
Oh man, what a major upset that is on the Beets headphones! I feel so bad for you!
Where can I find that watch for sake bud? Minus the replacement charger
I know you typically price all your records at $15 shipped, but have you ever used Popsike to price them out? You'd be surprised what some of the stuff you get can go for especially on eBay. Granted it can be a pretty vast range, but it's helpful.
do these liquidations include stuff shipped by amazon sold by 3rd parties? cause occaisionally you get the wrong item from 3rd parties in the right packaging
Do you have any recourse? Maybe you should still more of that bargain store by you.
Nope, no recourse
@@FranchiseKicks that's just wrong that Amazon doesn't wake up to these scams
That last item had the word "Defective" written in ink. That brings up the question, how many of these items are defective once the camera is turned off and you test them? That is why I do not normally buy from resellers. I assume all the risk on stuff that should not have even been on the sales floor to start with. I am not suggesting that you are doing this. My opinion of yourself is a very positive one as you do share everything with your viewers and I can tell by your demeanor that you realize the way to build a customer base is through repeat customers. Thanks Clint for all you do.
Moonpie
I test everything out before I sell it and if it is damaged then I either throw it away or I part it out
Arn't most of liquidations put in categories like uninspected returns etc , the purchase of the pallets cases is based on these categories, if want brand new checked inventory then you chose those and pay more.
Turtle beach my least favorite brand of current gaming headsets they use the super cheap material that breaks. So many people buy them based off the name and end up coming back with physical damage which warranties don't cover. Just wish they would step it up with more sturdy materials.
This episode was epic! I literally rolled over the floor laughing with the unboxing of the BEATS headphones.. Belongs 100% in the video series "Watch People Die Inside", and I referred it to them.. Might make you famous!
Thanks for watching and referring
doubtful. He has hands like Buttah though. He must make his wife mow the yard.
Im suprised he cared so much. Considering how much he spends constantly on comic n funko Mystery Boxes or Liquidation pallets n how much he was already up on this vids stuff why it even bothers him lol.
Even though I usually immeddiately fast forward to the unboxing. (I skip the explain talks of most vids.) I have to say that I LOVE these vids. NOT the Funko and other stuff, but these suprise boxes.. Yes!
I could feel the frustration of those items that were switched or missing. Feel bad for you.
I want to buy a pallet, what company can be trusted to buy from and not receive junk.
how do you know how to ship an item like the rate and priorities and who to ship with USPS, ups or FedEx? I'm looking to start I'm Just confused could like a link me a video? about the shipping keep up the great work
I know from 20+ years of experience. I don’t know of any videos to link.
Hi Clint i enjoy your vids keep up the good work. I was just wandering when you get empty boxes or scam returns how do you know the liquidator or one of their employee's has'nt helped themselves to the items before there boxed?
I have honest liquidators, they aren’t going to ruin their multi million dollar business and million dollar contracts with Amazon for a $200 pair of headphones
@@FranchiseKicks Hi Clint thanks for taking the time to reply, it was just something that has been on my mind since i started watching your vids a year or so ago. Here's to many more full boxes and funko pop unboxings. Take care my friend.
I'm beyond addicted to watching your videos keep up the awesome work man!!!
You might give that Joe Bonamassa cd a listen. He’s a hell of a good guitarist. Plays Rock / Blues music.
Hey Clint I just watched your electronic video the Xbox controllers were not the right ones the colors on the box is what is supposed to be in them I work in the electronic department
People will continue stealing as long as Amazon continues to pay off the return before the customer even sends the item back into Amazon. I returned a pair of brand new shoes. Put in the request and the reason into their site and printed off the return slip then went to our UPS store to send them off. By the time I got home I kid you not, my money was already showing in my account!
I dont listen to rap ... Oh shit a Eminem album, Im keeping this 😅😂.
😂😂 That's what I said. He recognized the only two rap albums.
Bears headphones were a real beatdown for you. I hate thieves. At least you still made money. Love your channel clint. Both channels.
Meant beats
Headphones sucks but man you have made thousands. :) just look at it that way and it made you a great thumbnail.
Just bypass the copyright by labelling it unwanted gift used or unused broken or not it’s easy🤘🏻🤷🏼♂️
Amazon is starting to look like the scammer
First, Clint didn't buy the pallet from Amazon. Secondly, you have no idea whether or not they caught the customer fraud. They would still liquidate whatever was returned.
@@Wolfcritic64 Yes, but when they count the retail price of the item as part of the MSRP value, the pallet buyer is getting ripped off.
@@gingerandcloves First, you don't know whether or not the MSRP is calculated based on the box rather than the contents. Secondly, that's the nature of liquidation merchandise. There is no guarantee of the value of what's included. The pallet buyer gets exactly what they paid for.
Waxwork Records is a small company that release never before released & out of print horror soundtracks. They are low print runs & retail for between $25 - $75 for most releases.
Update: Just found out Waxwork is releasing Rob Zomobie’s House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects & 3 From Hell soundtracks for $40 each preordered.
Clint, I thought you were going to have a stroke! I can't believe that Amazon lets them get away with this stuff!!! I'm glad you took a few minutes to collect yourself.
The difference between home runs and the runs with liquidation merch.
That Xbox controller is also a "Swap" scam...it's an older controller in a newer box but funny thing is...if the controller still works it's actually a much sought after limited edition on eBay.
Don't know if employees are monitored but is there a way someone working on returns could have done the switch? Not accusing just wondering.
Yeah it's definitely those graveyard Amazon warehouse workers.
Do you ever get any amateur radio products?
@ 6:20 Starry Eyes is a sound track for the movie
I know there has been a couple of the amazon return boxes that I have done, and the items is either missing. Or the wrong product. One the other day, was suppose to be a a veggie spinner. Well it was, but the bowl was so far out of shape it would not fit over it. So it is just trash....
Dang Clint I was 30's during 2000's. My profanity filter would have disengaged , you did better than me.
Brilliant video as always. Sorry, about the headphones, and the other scam box, I agree Amazon should check maybe complain to Amazon and might get some money back ?!Oh, that Starry Eyes is a soundtrack to a horror movie, you should watch I think you would like it. Death Do Us Part is like a lifetime movie, crime murder type.
The Records: Radiohead is a great band, the others are disco pop music . You should keep the The Fugees album.
Again, love the videos....
Amazon wont give him nothing cos he buys knowing this and he dont buy from amazon direct
Charlotte Harlow ok, I understand
That was a real bummer getting scammed on those beats headphones I agree amazon needs to check the stuff that the customers return GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS!!!!
They sell it as a junk pallet for pennies on the dollar. Do you expect brand new crap on a junk pallet?
Where can you buy these from
I hate when bad customers rip off amazon. When i buy from Amazon. I buy cause its what i want and im happy and i keep my merchandise.
"Doesnt know a single Ringo Starr hit"?..What??😱😱😱😁
Clint at the start and at the end the perfect sound is that street fighter ?
I’m confused as to how a company could tell you that you can’t sell their items. I understand it competition but in a free market society if you already have it you can do whatever you want with it. If that was the case then why don’t all companies do that because on Amazon people sell things that I’m sure is costing the company money. Just trying to figure out how that work
I just got a red one, and the box was different.
Clint: I have lots of Phobias..ME: no kidding..LOL
I am afraid of germs so I scrounge around through people's garbage looking for treasures.
I bet you will find more and more cases of return fraud, because your videos highlight to viewers how easy it is.
I was pounded for saying the same thing in another video
Was just thinking that. I didn’t even know this was a thing. Not that I have any interest in it. People are trashy
You need to give that Explosions in the Sky album a spin. They are a phenomenal post rock band. Grab a beer and let it play in the background.
David Dowling your hand in mine, money
Just curious, but can't you go to Amazon and get some kind of partial refund for the Beats being scammed ?
No. He bought these pallets knowing that it's a possibility that what he buys is broken or maybe even not there. It's why he can get a box full of product worth $2,000 for less than $300.
You had solo 3's the headphones you got up on amazon that you said were 350 were the studio 3s so your headphones weren't that much
Cool share again...I have to catch up ....missed a few ....thanks as always cool cool cool share
You can’t complain to Amazon about the conditions or missing products but if Amazon sets the MSRP as actual price and not as could be the MSRP then you have a legitimate complaint against them for falsifying the MSRP.
Yes totally agree with this
If Amazon checked all their returns thoroughly, you’d be out of business. The pallets would have nothing but damaged items and junk.
Sorry about that , but Amazon doesn't open and check , because the cousermer returned it defective
Good for them! Sticking it to the man!
Look forward to your Saturday videos every week. Keep them coming.
thanks for watching
just curious if you liquidator could be stealing all these high priced items..or does he/she not have an inventory sheet?
Why are you so mad about the beats headphones when you got the pallet so cheap in the first place? This isn't your first rodeo, you know what to expect and know the consequences of buying these pallets.
Do you still have the blue xbox wireless controller?
The controllers were both scam returns too. They bought new controllers and returned their old ones. Thats why the box didn't match either controller. The first controller was a call of duty advanced warfare controller from the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015. Amazon needs to check their returns.
Sorry to say this Clint, but you have a lot of thieves in the US. Here in the UK we probably have the same but you simply wouldn't get away with this. Amazon usually wait for your return and inspect it before refunding.
Happens in the uk as well. A brick in place of a ps4.
th-cam.com/video/o5_xEut2p6I/w-d-xo.html
Good Video keep em coming! Who buys home phones any more. everyone i know uses there cell phone.
The fake returns totally blows, u still made profits so it's all good. Be careful on those xbox 1 controllers my buddy got on in a pallet and it was a wired xbox 1 controller with the cord removed.
well you did it Clint, theft is no more
Wow people don't steal..... It's not nice or ethical........ Love from Canada girl xoxoc
Great video love the electronic pallet
Amazon gives your money back as soon as the return tracking shows UPS or whoever is transporting it has it in their hands. does Amazon ever check them and recharge customers, does not seems like it.
The controllers are usually what the picture looks like, I'm sure the controllers you got don't work
I will have to try them out
I think that too. Also they are most likely knock offs. The knock offs suck compared to the official ones. At least that's my experience with PS3 controllers.
I found out that Amazon checks their returns by weight. If it is close to the weight they have on record then they accept it.
The suunto 7 watches are still £300 plus in uk new
love your videos. Do you recycle all those boxes? haha
Love your videos!!
Good kuck on getting great hauls.
Have you ever considered talking to Amazon and letting them know that is happens often. They are being conned.
