  • AJ Kim is not a TI Coach yet. Learn TI from book and Paul (TI coach in Sydney). Kim began TI from in Dec. 2013 and completed 2.1 km open water swimming after 3 months.
    This video aims to show to practice hip rolling. I believe that proper hip rolling produce adequate kick and body stability which is a basement of propulsion(stroke).

    Is he wearing buoyancy shorts? I'm asking because that does seem like one, and that actually makes body position remarkedly higher with such a slow stroke rate and sparce kick.

      I do not think so... These are the jammer style shorts, they have buoyancy like any other swimming shorts, it is NOT neoprene. With proper balance, you can easily keep your legs high without strong kicking.

      it is not thing about the trunk, it is because he is swimming in total immersion stroke
