Just some friendly tips: Use your photography skills and apply them to videomaking as well. The white balance is all over the place, and your lighting setup is also quite lacking. You can easily improve your production value with small adjustments, and it would make your video a lot more enjoyable to watch. I also think experimenting a bit with microphone distance/settings could easily be worth the time. What you are saying is valuable and makes sense, so keep up the good work!
Hi, I have absolutely no clue why the youtube algorithm brought your content to me, but here I am 😅. These are real candid questions, from a French viewer. Is it common in the US for people to pay 10k$ for wedding pictures ? What does this price cover in terms of services, contract duration, etc ? In France, a wedding photographer usually get paid between 1000-2000 € to cover a wedding that is : bride prep, civil ceremony, religious ceremony if any, and then the banquet(so basically a single full day). Within that price range you get senior photographers, but you can easily find good photographers in the 500-900€ range. The price gap between the two countries seems ludicrous to me !
Anyone can charge anything they want wherever they are located. I really don't understand how photographers screw this up. This is why it's a stupid practice to base your rates on what others are charging in your area. One photographer may have a rich spouse and has no need to work at all and photography is just a hobby, they are going to price their work completely differently than the the photographer that is supporting a family of four. If your work is good enough and people can pay, they will. That's it. The only trick (and it's not a trick, it's actually called market research) is to determine what price the market will bare for the service offered. Then comparing that price against what is needed to survive and grow. If it doesn't line up, then you're either in the wrong market or the wrong service or both.

I charge over 5k in MEXICO. So I'd second what Marissa is saying. There's a high end market everywhere.
