The "colossal scale" architecture is what im looking forward to exploring most after reading the Siege of Terra series. Ill be playing as a White Scar online and i cant wait
Since the enemy is Thousand Sons, hopefully they're a surprise twist and you end up fighting alongside Space Wolves!
As an Australian, every time I hear Kadaku I think of Kakadu which is a large swampy, crocodile infested wilderness in our countries far north.

I just hope the fact it was delayed from last year is because they were ironing out the bugs (not the Tyranids) and making the game polished from release. A lot of game developers and publishers don't do that anymore. I'd rather wait a year for a polished game and have fun with it then get annoyed with bugs and issues slowing down everything. But super hyped for SM2

@spudnic5849 I heard of that. I also heard that she not working on space marine. Don't know if she quit or got fired, but she is not working with Saber interactive since last year and is currently working with ubisoft for a Ironman game.

Could be better if their hand crafted they'll have more soul to the levels. Just all about at what pace will we get new ones
probably just enemy spawns and such, but there's not that many enemies right now it seems.
Would be cool if they added to this in future with more planets as DLC.

For future updates, an idea would be a new pvp/pve game mode in which the Tyranids appear in the middle of the game pvp and attack the winning side in large hordes, acting as a "balancing system".
I’d love a mode where you have to protect the banner and you can have up to 5-6 space marines protecting it and moving it to extraction.
Dorn is limbless and used as Perto's body pillow.
Everytime I see those two seconds scene of the Redemptor Dreadnought in the game, I almost thought it's an Imperial Knight. It'll be awesome to see one in Space Marine II. And Terminators.
Hoping the customization is good enough so I can test out what I want my custom chapter to look like! Be a really cool thing to do.

Looking at the PVE missions and how much space they take up in the UI it seems they've left room for at least another 6. 12 Would be great for replayability
What I'm curious to know is can you select your AI companion's class along with yours?, even if you can't edit their class, at least just choose them, otherwise you'll be heavily penalised for not using real players in campaign co-op.
For example;
Can you choose to go on a campaign mission as a heavy, then your two AI companions as Bulwarks, or one as a sniper etc.
I feel like you could since vermintide did that

This game has a real chance to be massive, and Val your doing an amazing job rallying the troops because i know i am going to be streaming this game all the time. I am hoping the gameplay feels responsive because, as a former Street Fighter tourney player and WoW pvper, if it is with the graphics and storyline, this game will have it all. Now Val get me confirmation of Grey Knight skins please sir!

I'd think it would be cool if each planet has different Chapters working on them. City planet has Raven Guard, Jungle planet has Salamanders, Chaos planet has Grey Knights etc...
Seeing the Gravis jetpack in action. I hope the game begins kind of like the antithesis of Spacemarine, instead of Titus making the call to preserve the lives of the crew and remaining marines by doing a crazy drop insertions, we see Primaris Titus hold back and brace for the crash. Then later he does some crazy action with the Gravis armor, signifying the old Titus is back, and came to terms with the shame from his redemption tour and pulled rank. It doesn't have to be Gravis armor, but I'd definitely like to see that character arc with Titus.

Really hoping there's some procedural element or randomness to the missions. Otherwise six is not much at all and pretty disappointing
The game is built on WWZ Aftermath engine. The points system looks the same. The yellow tokens are for weapon upgrades. The blue Tokens are for cosmetics. They go up in value based on difficulty
The campaign is like splinter cell chaos theory where you play as two agents supporting Sam fisher. Think the concept was daily big back in the day and just adds to the lore of doing coop games

From what I’ve heard from people who played the demo already, your companion AI is absolutely brain dead. The worst part of any campaign mission with companion sections is by far the clunky pathing and unintelligent companion AI. I would much rather have the game write out the companions entirely for single player and buff the solo player’s damage slightly to make up for it. I think Halo 3/ ODST did this great. Titus is the main character in the story anyways. There’s no reason to throw 2 marines in the mix unless they’re controlled by real players. It’s not important to immersion whether or not they’re included in the dialogue.
Im glad they finally showed how many missions are going to be in the Operations mode. 6 is decent alongside the campaign but certainly light if that's going to be your realm of focus like myself and my friends. I don't see myself playing pvp much if at all, and the campaign will likely be a 1-2 playthroughs and done. Unless they show off the game is launching with 8-12 operations I can safely say I wont be buying this at launch. Ill just wait until the first (couple) content drops come and get it at a discount. I'm happy they were transparent to show more of everything they're offering.
This is why i keep saying they need to make a warframe style playform mmo. Keep everything in this game but add the warframe map interface and certain things like;
Instead of clans we get chapters
Instead of frames we farm armors and weapons
Instead of warframe ranking system, we get rights to passages
Instead of random nonsense, we get the actual universe of Warhammer and which ever chapter you start in when you reach level 15 or 25 you can become your own second founding or third as your own chapter master. Or join someone else chapter.
Give us multiple races such as the base starters space marines, eldar, orcs, chaos. That game will be endless and nobody else will play anything but that. Lol
If we're getting any major UM characters showing up, I am hoping we also get to see some familiar faces (to Tsons enjoyers) that survive. Fodder for some new plastic would be grand.
You think we will get more content in the form of more classes? Like Librarians, since we are fighting against Thousand Sons in SM2? Terminators, Aggressors?

The pve has to be rewarding. It's fun to play but hopefully they give us stuff to chase. Really looking forward to this game.

One of if the VERY few games to get me hyped for release and a bit tempted to buy full price. Hoping the devs don't fuck this up.
I would like to see around 20 missions in the PvE mode before launch and then add more down the line. I know 20 sounds like alot, but it would go a long way in making the missions not feel stale when you play them back to back and manage to get the same missions over and over.
Hopefully like darktide you could play 20 different maps but each time different objectives and different routes

My hope is that as we progress through the campaign, more coop missions will unlock that will be relevant to what is going on in the story. It would be awesome if you could see the impact of your missions on the main story.
Space Marine 1 is what brought me into the hobby. Very excited to be able to play a sequel and enjoy some fun coop.

I think the mission "Decapitation" shows us exactly on why three veterans manage to take on a near impossible threat in a Hive Tyrant & win: we weaken it tremendously by luring it & the swarm it commands to the bridge & blow it up, dropping the bridge on it.
Well, when I say weaken, I say get back up with a steel girder stuck in it's chest & pissed off, still fully capable of splattering Talasa Squad in 2 hits with that FUCKHEUG Bonesword of it.
I was at my local GW store yesterday and I asked the manager if they are gonna make a demo for the ps5 for space marine 2 and he said he has no idea. Have you heard anything about that, Valrak?

also i dont see why people saying 6 missions is light. we have to consider its launching along side a full campaign mode and PvP. 6 dedicated missions, with speculated different objectives for each, is in my opinion more than enough at launch. i want the devs to be able to see their families at some point lol. more excited for the future content

The opportunity for dlcs for this game could be never ending and due to the scale of the warhammmer verse it would make sense to have endless dlc. Hope they go all the way with this game

with regards to the rewards screen at the end of the mission there's XP and the random currency, I just noticed that on the perks customisation screen you see a split second of someone purchasing the proven efficiency team perk using what looks like the aforementioned currency and the weapon upgrades/cosmetics looks like something else is used
