I personally have seen my housemates who got caught in this trap. Bought a 2001 car for 1800 bucks all cash and then spent nearly 5k on repairs. As of now, the car sits outside cause it's not 'fit' even for night drives. Piyush is spot on here. Take the advice dont buy until you're earning 50k yearly. That's the baseline for me.
I haven't even seen this video and I know that its a bad idea to own a car or expensive gadgets at minimum wage type of income. Most people tend to forget that changing country of residence won't immediately change financial standing of an individual.
You are absolutely right, I came as PR and have a decent job and I am still thinking about whether I need a car since I have to pay 1000 = 400$(emi) + 150(Toronto parking) + 400(Insurance) fixed expenses. Why would anyone buy a car if they are a student, also please please don't buy 3000$ cars as well.
Appreciate ut efforts..each and every video is informative
Govt should not allow students to do full-time work because most of the students are not getting any job and that is why even living in Canada is big challenging for students even if they do not buy a car.

Bro although my rent is paid for and i come from a very solid strong family.I still purchased a 3000$ toyota , got it fixed for 500$ to go to my job which is 2 hours by transit. I can easily buy 40,000$ car in cash if i wanted to but there is no point
u r right bro i came on lmia 2023 then i buy 700$ car from garage and repair it spend 400$ then i drove for pizza delivery and till now em useing that one while em on class 5 lisence my expense on car is 60$ in one month and i earn minimum 50 to 70$ tip everyday thats great deal bro🙏🏻👍🏻
How do you get that car from the garage? And what to look into it if we buy it from Garage!? Where to repair that? ... Would you provide any details regarding it?
@@digitaltech9906 60$ expenses in one month, he is lying in every word
Where did u get this from bro
yeah why not go to west kelowna there is garage
@@Canadavibez name of the garage ?
Good video bro. I was planning to buy a car. I just came Jan 24 intake. But I was just planning to buy on cash. But still its very risky and unnecessary. Thanks for the elder brother advice man. I appreciate it❤. I’m not gonna put a burden on my shoulders as long as I’m on study permit. BTW my job and college is nearby.
I would recommend for students working full time to wait for announcement of 30 th april and then take measures accordingly.
Great advice 💯
I don't even get how international student even think about buying a new car. Bro if you have to buy just buy a second hand car. It is crystal clear that you should not buy a new car. Just for showing off his money, his car. He ends up skipping meals. It is funny and unfortunate to be really honest.
Its kind of right for a student or couple who has to bear everything on his own .
But if you already had a savings fron India you can use it to buy a car.
With a kid it's not at all possible to live without a car.
We are here from last one year and everybody have used the savings from India to buy a second hand car .
I agree its impossible without a car with a kid
What a unmatched content you always brings in our tables, Really appreciate your support and kind of knowledge your are giving to all of us every day and every single week 👍 appreciated your all your efforts, the depth research you do just to makes us not alone and unwanted sometimes, situations are not in our favour but not putting any cringe tagline about Canada situation , you bring positive attributes just to show we are not alone in this shit .. you are making your parents proud #piyushcanada ☘️🧿🤞🏻
I m totally agree with your points and I m not going to buy a car through out my studies I will be there in TRU for sep24 intake definitely wanna meet with you and appreciate you for your op content😅
Hey brother, this is so realistic. Can you also explain the measures of line of credit. Are international students able to start a line of credit and is it worth it to do so for covering fee expenses?
Buying a car on minimum wage is just pure stupidity lol

Hi piyush Bhai, I watched your every video. Can you please make a full video on how we can align our resume with job description
I only wish this was more in English! Although I get the main concept it would've been good to understand proper.
Hi Piyush, me & my husband both IT professional, we both have got onsite opportunity to Mississauga Toronto, we have a 6yr old kid too. Will it be a good decision to move there?
Not at all. Very expensive. Stressful life
Depends on how much are they offering you.
Don’t come for less than $95K annually/each.
@@PiyushCanada thanks for your reply.. package is this only, dont know how much we will get in-hand after all tax deduction.
95K CAD annually per person.
So around 190K as aa couple.
Definitely not bad.
Just watch the 25 questions video.
@@Soodhp I am not planning to have PR or stay permanently..
We got onsite there on ICT-WP. We will stay maximum 3yr.. is it a good option according to you? My kid is 6yr old, I think her education will be free
bro I'm a PR and i cant afford a car. I'm still driving a 15 year old toyota that is ready to go to junkyard.
live in new brunswick which is one of the cheaper provinces.
I earn 24$/hr working 40 hrs/week. No wife or kids, no big loans, no bad habits... Still really hard to afford a better car.
Its because im all alone in canada and no support from anyone. students who have family support from india can buy whatevr they want here.
Bhai bahot badhiyaan kiya aapne ye video banake....mere dosto ko bata ke thak gaya
What about buying a cheap car on cash ?
Be prepared JUST IN CASE any repair expense.
@@PiyushCanada any suggestions and tips ? Please !!
Get a mechanic to look at it before buying costs you $60-100 but saves a headache
At approximately how much post tax monthly income would you suggest taking a car?
I know it depends on person to person, but still an estimate?
❤❤v
Good
Bro agar me second hand gari kharidu ke ye cheez face karna parega ya pher income bharega tab kharidnah chahiye

70000 kya hota bhai bhai. Its pennies.
A decent mortgagee in India is 50k/month

He/she can do uber/dasher/courier to ease their expenses!
In some cities, Uber/Skip has maxed out on drivers already so they are not on boarding any new drivers.
Delivery hours also gets calculated bro.
