@@BastyTHz Enzo makes them easier to do, to find the faults, look for a small blue glowing symbol on the ground. Then use your scanner (tab) and turn and use it again and repeat that until you hear a beep, follow the beeps until it leads you to a vault. Sometimes vaults can be on a cliff edge, on a tower, in a building.
Heck, I'd be happy if they just remove Descendant pieces you already have in your inventory (and from owned Descendants) from the pool and boost the other chances. I have so many duplicate parts and there's nothing that can be done with them. I'd say yellow weapons, too, but there could be a few people who want the same weapon with different rolls.
yeah, there is definitely some tweaking needed with the way the drops work. having some non-ult descendants gated behind a chance of a chance is not great
Before doing any of this, make sure you farm for gear drop rate gear on your components it will tremendously increase your gains and decrease your time having to to do resource runs around the map, with item consumable drop rate and item drop rate on your sensor component it increases the amount you get and how often elites drop those coveted mats, im already crafting my 3rd catalyst and 2nd energy activator today! Get out there Descendants!
It took me 88 runs to get 1 Activator BP. Honestly I dont see myself playing this game a ton if a vital thing like this is soo hard to get. That pretty much forces you to only limit yourself to 2 or 1 descendant and 2 or 1 gun aswell. Makes the game really boring
looter shooters aren't your game then. And I clear ran this entire story without using my activator or module catalyst to save for new descendant. its not vital, it just makes you more op
The grind to get the BP is really bad. Saying looter shooters aren't for him means you never played any other looter shooters if you think 3% is acceptable. All it takes is for a mass majority to call it quits with TFD and this game will sink. At least the devs listen and I'm sure Nexon will make grinding them even easier.

Most other looter shooters either offer trading, the ability buy the item with premium currency earned in game, or have an easier grind. Also the Energy Activators are 100% vital if you are planning to tackle any bosses in Hard Mode. Being able to increase your slots and add more mods/mod upgrades will turn an unbeatable boss into a boss you might only have a little trouble with.

But the premise of looter shooter aint gonna change, the game doesnt guarantee you anything, theres a chance(percentage) thats the whole point to grind tell you get it, then feel accomplish about it later. If you feel your owed something after doing a run you should go play a mmorpg or story game. You also have games like the Borderlands series where they have mailing, dropping, trading, and in game currency that you can use to get anything in the game. And all that was there from Day 1. Im glad that TFD will be adding trading, events, pets and everything else but is it in the game right now? Most people would rather go and play another type of looter shooter with those changes already implemented than wait for TFD to add QoL changes that haven’t even been given a date or timeframe yet. No one is saying they want the item to be guaranteed they are saying that the rate of the drops are far too low with no other way to get the item than to outright buy it with real money. PRO TIP! If you are on PC press "Tab" to use your ecive. The same thing works on console I just dont know what button it is. Ping it over and over while running around, if you hear a "Ding" or "ping" like sound, follow it. Make sure there's no dialog going on though or it wont ping you. Once you follow that sound you'll find the vaults. Its super easy because the sound comes from the vault so if its above you or below you it will sound like so.
Idk if this has been commented yet but it's been discovered at wave 21 in defend albion resources in echo swamp you have a chance to get a prebuilt Crystallization catalyst. You should do a video on that next to bring more awareness to it.
So I maxed out my bunny (full catalysts on all slots to fit in full maxed out mods), semi-full modded thunder cage. Now that I want to move on to another descendant and weapon, I am royally stuck by not getting a single energy activator BP for days now.
Could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and farm the hard mode relic materials still to try to get all the other good blueprints and treat the energy activator / crystalized catalist bp as just a bonus side objective. Only once you farmed everything you need in all available relics, you can regress and farm Kingston relics and open them with the lvl 10 colossus.
Is that true or is that just a feeling? With true I mean tests like 100x this relic compared 100x the specific ones or do you talk about the golden AMPs with the 6% drop rate
@@kDo17O sometimes it puts on you back on the same instance , but if you keep swaping every time you finish a run , most of the times you'll get into one with less time or none at all
@@kDo17O Keep going sometimes you will get a server that is on cooldown. Even multiple times in a row. I have found to efficiently do it, my rule is if its not already possible, is if it's 1:30 or below I wait. I got ultimate gley yesterday in like 6 hours with spamming it, but make sure you teleport to different outpost sometimes or run through the connecting doors. I have found after doing the same teleport they will start disconnecting you on the loading screen, if you do the same pattern too many times. However I ran through the doors for 2 hours and didn't have the problem it was only when I was map tping. So I think by changing your pattern every so often you can avoid my issue.

I farmed the executioner for the final piece of the activator and it took me around 12 rounds for it to drop (had a over 20 of the pattern 16 in inventory)
Idk why but the private instance refresh is not working for me anymore. Wonder if it was stealth patched or some other issues on my end or getting unlucky 😅
I would not even recommend attempting and eating ultra precision modules without using Enzo. They are acutely pretty hard without him. It’s over 100% easier with him. I think it’s like 150% slower and you get more time
you can get the magister lab down to like 1:40-2m with a bunny. Just need enough for infinite 3 and then a bunch of mp stuff for constant speed and a bit of spawn knowledge.

why are you traveling all the way to the outposts for the low carbon activator ? i use the door to switch server, it goes quicker and it's closer to the zone
If they want this game to be another warframe. They can't make the grind tediously harder. If the catalyst and activators rng was like warframes. Catalyst would be in the 38% drop rate spots. And activators would be in that 15% slot. This makes getting and trying many different descendant and weapons combinations for endgame as one would like. This game really either wants you to grind endlessly for simple character progression. Or to simply use one descendant and one weapon.
The grind is not actually that bad imo. You just need to find the right descendant to use first to help you with the missions. It's super easy right now to get the activators and catalyst, and my goal is to get the ultimate version of descendants and as well as weapons. The game make look terrible but once you unlock the hard mode and create a farming route, it's super easy. I'm not saying that it will be fast, but this type of game is not meant to be played for a couple of days and be satisfied with the story. It's a looter shooter, and I like the genre because there's are things to do after the campaign, and it will keep better (fingers crossed) once the developer will include decent future updates.
@thegrindshack Yeah I get it's supposed to take time. I'm MR 20 in warframe. That's why I'm annoyed. In warframe I can always unlock all the slots on my characters and weapons. The "activators" and "catalyst" of that game are way more readily available at a m7ch higher drop rate. I like the game. Just don't think it should be such a hard decision on what characters I want to max. "If I use this activator on my weapon. I may have to wait a week to get another drop or buy one" shouldn't be a thought process to me. I wanna try everything
A think a lot of people are gonna burn out soon if they don’t adjust drop rates and some of the obnoxious cosmetic related issues. If you aren’t being rewarded for your time you will just move on. Not everyone runs to swipe their wallet.
FYI guys, if you have a suped up Bunny, the Magister's Lab can take from 1:30 seconds to 2:30 seconds depending on your energy economy... the fastest I've run it was 1:40 something seconds I keep falling off the map each time so you can definitely make it faster if you're super sweaty accurate 😅
I did a man vs energy activator farm today (grind until the blueprint drops) I did normal grave walker blast.. farmed up like 30 amorphous materials and it dropped on the 4th kill lol
Im a gley main but really appreciate a stocked out bunny. Maxed out gley with a maxed out bunny with electric condense is just the best thing. Took me about a minute and a half it was so fun. Really enjoy this game.
Cooldown doesn't reset, you just move to another world where maybe just maybe nobody has done it. But even in Private mode, for some reason, they go on cooldown sometimes on their own like someone is doing them...
Very timely, i just started grinding today. I already had 2 of the blueprint codes and all of the Low Carbon Activators. I have Hagios unlocked but haven't set foot in there yet as I've been using Chrystalization Catalysts and leveling Gley a lot. Right now I'm farming the Conductive Metallic Coils as a mission monster drop in Vespers Normal mode on an extermination mission. Its slow but each run only takes about 1:30 to complete so its easy and mindless. The other two I'll have to grind out soon!
a grind explicitly designed to be tedious and unfun so people feel pushed into paying for them instead back in 2010s this might have worked these days, however, this will cause more people to quit than to pay. mostly because most people cannot afford to become whales
15 minutes? The waiting time of each outpost is only 5 minutes when you do not use the private lobby trick. Why did your game got to 15 minutes timer? lol
@@thegrindshack Everytime I do the fast travel and go back the outpost A,B and C destroy themselves and says I have to wait 15 minutes on private. I wait 15 min and it gets destroyed again cant do it. I have restarted the game and still happens
It's not on the shop exactly. If you upgrade your descendant or weapon but you have no activator, then it will prompt you to a screen wherein you can buy the activator for 1200 caliber.
Running on 60k def and 23 hp atm. 2 catalyst but planning to finally get him the energy activator once done crafting. I'll update the build for ajax don't worry but to give you some details, I remove shield module then added overwhelming HP + stim accelerant module to increase health to insanity. It also helps increase def and while I don't need it, I'll still take it lol.
It's only the fully built item, and it's for $25 worth of premium currency, if you buy the minimum amount of currency required. If you wanted to 'minimize' the cost of individual reactors, you can get them as cheaply as $20.87 (more accurately $20.869) if you buy the $100 currency pack 24 times to get 138000 currency and purchase 115 reactors. Anything other than that is more expensive per reactor.
You need to select a different map, then turn it private, then teleport there. In other words, open up the local map, then the world map (so you can see other regions), select a different region, click the toggle for public/private, then go to the region. Do note, if you are in a group, then group state changes like someone crashing will open up that specific lobby to the public again.
I spent 4 days straight grinding for ult gley and didn't get a single piece like I am sorry but the drop rate are bad. Don't care what people say that shouldn't happen I shouldn't feel defeated grinding when the game has amazing game play and tons of potential

Unless they will eventually consider to pump up in the future these scummy and blatantly p2w drop rates for essential materials like the forma thingy and energy activator (which i highly doubt knowing how Nexon operates), then i'll gladly drop this watered down cash grab clone of Warframe in not even a week i'm trying it out. Honestly none of these were a problem to me i was just hoping to see a better way to farm the blueprint but oh well and i think using Sharen is completely useless and most of the outpost don't even work properly for hacking (which forced me to farm waves for Jayber might i add) seriously might sell her to make space or just the fact i don't like her at all.
the harder outposts respawn indefinitely and you have to level sharen up to lvl 28 for lvl 4 invis and slap some duration mods on for at least 12 secs and strong mentality for cd- to get 2 generators and then hide then get the other 2 and kill the boss. You hide by hugging the outside of the walls while waiting for cd on invis.

The grind of this game is so terribly bad. I had the materials for 3 catalysts, hate the time gate to research. Why rest back to level 1? I have two i cant use and dont feel like leveling up to just do it again. Players are going to drop off hard once act 2 in destiny starts

1:22 you can also get them from mission enemies, but at a really low drop rate and it seems, only 1/drop.
they drop quite a bit in infiltrations, plus hard mode drops stacks of the vault mats

Find a loop of them to do and they are all off CD when you rock back up. It may be slower but im always doin something but waiting for timers.

takes roughly about 50 cubes to get 1 energy activator
sometimes its really unlucky and you wont get one and need to do another 50 cube run

If you're in end game, do hard magister lab instead. Still super easy and only requires beating hard executioner which is still a cake walk.
Plus on hard, you get 2 amorphous at a time which makes the amorphous grind take a lot less time

If they want this game to be another warframe. They can't make the grind tediously harder. If the catalyst and activators rng was like warframes. Catalyst would be in the 38% drop rate spots. And activators would be in that 15% slot. This makes getting and trying many different descendant and weapons combinations for endgame as one would like. This game really either wants you to grind endlessly for simple character progression. Or to simply use one descendant and one weapon.
The grind is not actually that bad imo. You just need to find the right descendant to use first to help you with the missions. It's super easy right now to get the activators and catalyst, and my goal is to get the ultimate version of descendants and as well as weapons. The game make look terrible but once you unlock the hard mode and create a farming route, it's super easy. I'm not saying that it will be fast, but this type of game is not meant to be played for a couple of days and be satisfied with the story. It's a looter shooter, and I like the genre because there's are things to do after the campaign, and it will keep better (fingers crossed) once the developer will include decent future updates.
@thegrindshack Yeah I get it's supposed to take time. I'm MR 20 in warframe. That's why I'm annoyed. In warframe I can always unlock all the slots on my characters and weapons. The "activators" and "catalyst" of that game are way more readily available at a m7ch higher drop rate. I like the game. Just don't think it should be such a hard decision on what characters I want to max. "If I use this activator on my weapon. I may have to wait a week to get another drop or buy one" shouldn't be a thought process to me. I wanna try everything
A think a lot of people are gonna burn out soon if they don’t adjust drop rates and some of the obnoxious cosmetic related issues. If you aren’t being rewarded for your time you will just move on. Not everyone runs to swipe their wallet.

FYI guys, if you have a suped up Bunny, the Magister's Lab can take from 1:30 seconds to 2:30 seconds depending on your energy economy... the fastest I've run it was 1:40 something seconds I keep falling off the map each time so you can definitely make it faster if you're super sweaty accurate 😅

I did a man vs energy activator farm today (grind until the blueprint drops) I did normal grave walker blast.. farmed up like 30 amorphous materials and it dropped on the 4th kill lol
I farmed 41 002 patterns for grave walker and got 3 activator BP from those 41 patterns.
Im a gley main but really appreciate a stocked out bunny. Maxed out gley with a maxed out bunny with electric condense is just the best thing. Took me about a minute and a half it was so fun. Really enjoy this game.
Cooldown doesn't reset, you just move to another world where maybe just maybe nobody has done it. But even in Private mode, for some reason, they go on cooldown sometimes on their own like someone is doing them...

Very timely, i just started grinding today. I already had 2 of the blueprint codes and all of the Low Carbon Activators. I have Hagios unlocked but haven't set foot in there yet as I've been using Chrystalization Catalysts and leveling Gley a lot.
Right now I'm farming the Conductive Metallic Coils as a mission monster drop in Vespers Normal mode on an extermination mission. Its slow but each run only takes about 1:30 to complete so its easy and mindless.
The other two I'll have to grind out soon!

It's not on the shop exactly. If you upgrade your descendant or weapon but you have no activator, then it will prompt you to a screen wherein you can buy the activator for 1200 caliber.

What is your new build for Ajax?
Running on 60k def and 23 hp atm. 2 catalyst but planning to finally get him the energy activator once done crafting. I'll update the build for ajax don't worry but to give you some details, I remove shield module then added overwhelming HP + stim accelerant module to increase health to insanity. It also helps increase def and while I don't need it, I'll still take it lol.

It's only the fully built item, and it's for $25 worth of premium currency, if you buy the minimum amount of currency required. If you wanted to 'minimize' the cost of individual reactors, you can get them as cheaply as $20.87 (more accurately $20.869) if you buy the $100 currency pack 24 times to get 138000 currency and purchase 115 reactors. Anything other than that is more expensive per reactor.

How do you put your open world on private i haven't been able to find the setting on ps5
From albion press g then select the zone and press that public button to turn it to private.
You need to select a different map, then turn it private, then teleport there.
In other words, open up the local map, then the world map (so you can see other regions), select a different region, click the toggle for public/private, then go to the region.
Do note, if you are in a group, then group state changes like someone crashing will open up that specific lobby to the public again.
On the area map on the top left, there's a option to switch the difficulty and state of the instance

I spent 4 days straight grinding for ult gley and didn't get a single piece like I am sorry but the drop rate are bad. Don't care what people say that shouldn't happen I shouldn't feel defeated grinding when the game has amazing game play and tons of potential

Honestly none of these were a problem to me i was just hoping to see a better way to farm the blueprint but oh well and i think using Sharen is completely useless and most of the outpost don't even work properly for hacking (which forced me to farm waves for Jayber might i add) seriously might sell her to make space or just the fact i don't like her at all.
the harder outposts respawn indefinitely and you have to level sharen up to lvl 28 for lvl 4 invis and slap some duration mods on for at least 12 secs and strong mentality for cd- to get 2 generators and then hide then get the other 2 and kill the boss. You hide by hugging the outside of the walls while waiting for cd on invis.
I seriously waisted my whole day yesterday and you say I can skip the outpost timer
