What most other color mixing channels fail to do is emphasize the importance of color ratios. I hope you continue making content like this; it’s quite useful.
This is such a good thing to do if you want to paint but lack inspiration! It gets you going and makes you actually sit down and start painting, and by the end of it you’ll both be warmed up and also have really handy charts for exactly how to mix the colours you want on your next painting 😊
For purples you need magenta. Warmer reds have a lot of yellow tint in them therefore they warm up the final color making it brownish. (For best results use cyan as well)
It was his invention, not the real names so no worries. This video is boring. 😅 showing us the obvious result of mixing stuff, like wth, how great, red and white can bring different shades of pink. 3yo kids know that.
Watching you mix the colors was fun, and it was cool to see how combining the same colors in different amounts gives you different colors, but I still have one tiny little beef: As someone familiar with Stamping Up™ colors....... That was not Calypso Coral.
🤢 Can't unthink it after reading your comment, but I believe that Pappy Whip color was actually supposed to be "Papaya Whip", which is a very pale buttery, creamy off-white color.
The carry-over left on the blade between mixtures is driving me nuts. I think you did that on purpose to get more engagement forcing us to comment about it. It would earn one more thumbs up if you clean the blade between mixtures next time to make the ratios more accurate
Is it just me or do these ratios really work weird? I mean. If we take white and red for example. 90% white has only 10% red but the change is very visible but 10% white does absolutely nothing to 90% red. And there's multiple examples like this. Sure it's still satisfying but it'd be better if paints affected each other evenly. Not saying the artist put the wrong numbers, I'm aware that this is just chemistry of pigments that some will overpower others more than ratios would suggest. It's just sth my brain decided to chew on
You are correct in that white and yellow have relatively little tinting power compared to black or the other colours. So if you want to make a very pale, icy colour, you need to start with white and add just a tiny bit of the hue.
I do have a bit of disappointment when watching this. (P.S. yes, I know my OCD is a problem. It's why I don't do art-I make a mistake and I can't get past it to fix it like real artists do). It disappoints me because the colors aren't always fully mixed, which could change the hue slightly. Then the paint is so close that sometimes there's bleedthrough from one of the other percents. This also alters the shade and color slightly. The concept and idea are great but I prefer watching the play-doh ones because you can keep better control of the color mixing. OCD is a pain. But the asmr with this is amazing.

I don't know why I don't why I find this so mesmerizing, it's like those color mixing videos you put on to keep your kid distracted but for adults.

I once needed purple enamel and couldn’t find it. I mixed blue and red. The result was feces brown.
Should have used aqua or cyan.

I understood that I don't know 90 percents of color names. That was interesting to watch, thanks.

Amazing colors😊
Keep doing it. good work. .🎉
That is quite a skill in itself to be able to mix paints at that speed 😛
Очень профессиональный подход к каждому цвету. Цвета ещё нужно уметь чувствовать. Это у вас хорошо получается
I literally went, “Ooh that’s like some…Barbie pink or something.” Sure enough!”
Can't help but notice the Jacaranda at 0:22 is quite different to Jacaranda at 6:53! 😅
I thought the same thing!!!
Beautiful ❤
Not what my colour synesthesia would name the shades but effective point illustration.
Nothing like watching your husband mix paints and how he feels about you and others on youtube.
So satisfying to watch
I put my painting eyes on and colors stab me. So many, so varied, vibrant, brilliant.👀

😮
Are these oil paints or acrylic?
Watched for the sound
Nice
Hi which brand of colours do you use?
Minute 8: you mean chartreuse, not charteruse.
Like these videos a lot.
Thank you !!!
Hello, would you make mix between white & slightly yellowish orange please? Thanks in advance 😊
Yes, sure😍😍
Hey can you make skin tone glass paint colour😊
I don't usually have a very dirty mind, but the off white color mixed with foliage green was named "Pappy Whip".....
🤢 Can't unthink it after reading your comment, but I believe that Pappy Whip color was actually supposed to be "Papaya Whip", which is a very pale buttery, creamy off-white color.
@@CrunchyGreenWaterOK that actually makes sense.
I have never heard these colors in my life.
At the end was NOT baby pink. Baby colors are usually pastel. 4:36 is far more of a baby pink.
It was sped up so fast, I had to pause to ensure the palette knife was actually clean between each mix. 😅
Which board u are using
Okay but the names you come up with? 🧐
3:21 air blue, 7:11 air blue🧐🤔

Не помешало бы указывать называния смешиваемых цветов или красителей.
Pappy whip? That’s mayonnaise.
I haven't seen that many spelling mistakes in a youtube video before
Ok.
Make video daily
Where do u get the names?😂

Who names this crap?! 😂 What the hell bird egg is green? Like one weird species of chicken or something
Many!
Yes some chickens lay green eggs but a lot of other birds lay green eggs too.
I actually have this chicken breed. The color is pretty spot on. It was the one that I actually agreed with, lmao.

Hi❤️
What is "barely pink" ... ? 😂
I'm sorry, but it made me snort in amusement.
