Survival got buffed so much that it's on the thumbnail twice (It was hardly a buff tbh, Peak Leader is still terrible and KC spam rotation isn't fixed)
Whoops lol didn't notice I put it there twice :] , I also seem to have misread it a bit. I thought it was gonna be an extra 12% crit chance, not crit damage. Your right this buff is actually super minor now that I've reread it.
So what was your original tier list? Did frost DK drop to B tier after these patch notes? Ive also heard people say nothing but bad things about unholy and i dont see ANYONE playing unholy either so curious why its in S tier.
Frost was already b it didn't move really. Unholy is insane rn. It does probably the highest damage in the game, is incredibly disruptive, and isn't easy to kill. It's only downside is it isn't fury warrior. But fury tsg is prob gonna be one of the best comps in the game once the season comes out.
Hey thanks for the video, I'm a returning player. I havent played since cataclysm. A few friends convinced me to come back. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what to play for PvP, a few things about me: - I don't need to play the most broken class but I don't want a D tier class. - I want something that will do decent in bgs, open world pvp, 2v2 and 3v3 - my friends I'll be doing arena with play frost mage and feral druid. - I've kinda been leaning towards Affliction lock, assassination rogue or resto druid. ( I used to main Ret pally and Ele shaman but neither was ever meta for 2v2 so I kinda want to branch out and play something new and preferably something that's more of a traditional solid 2v2 option) I don't really care about 5v5 at all Which of these do you think is best for a returning player/ easiest to pick up. And what do you think would comp best with my friends? Back when I played 10 years ago frost mage/ rogue was always among the most busted 2v2 comps. Is rogue/mage still S tier for 2v2?
Ok so rogue mage is pretty much always the best / sometimes only double dps comp 2's comp. However rogue is also the hardest class in the game. That's kinda the only double dps 2's comp that works, your better off playing with a healer in 2's pretty much always. But if your friends play mage and feral disc priest could be the perfect spec if you wanna play a healer. It's pretty easy to play and pretty fun since your more of an offensive dps healer. For dps warrior would be pretty good, it's pretty easy and can work with both feral and mage. But not gonna be very good for double dps 2's is all. Aff lock would also be pretty good, feral lock and mage lock are both generally pretty good. So if you wanna play a caster that's probably your best bet.
@@Yuouji thanks for the thorough response. There used to be a lot of 2s comps with healers. But you could also make double DPS comps work too. I think at one point the highest ranked 2s team was a double mage team actually. Kind of funny how the meta changes. But disc priest/mage was strong back then. And warrior with any kind of healer dominated 2s as well back in the day. So you're saying Rogue is strong but harder to pick up and hard to master. Warrior, or lock would be an easier entry point. For the average player to find success on? And disc priest if I wanna heal? I never played priest really at all. Not sure how I'd like it. But I could definitely try
@@007-spideysense Yeah double dps 2's comps have been pretty bad the last 2 xpacs. It's kinda sad cuz I used to love qing ret rogue 2's. Rogue is def pretty hard and gonna take a significant amount of time investment to be competent with it. Warrior and lock are two of the easier classes for their archetypes, not the easiest but not too difficult. Disc has a super low skill floor but a pretty high skill ceiling. It's easy to get into, but always has things you can get better on. Rdruid can be a bit harder since it's a lot less forgiving sometimes and hots are sometimes harder to manage over direct heals/ cd trading playstyle of disc.
Think they just don't want tanks in arena, and brewmaster was hitting people for like half their healthbar. Generally a tank spec whose entire thing is extending games, also having the ability to 1 shot isn't very healthy for the game.
@@robbe6194 how is it fine that every other class does it ? not like brewmasters are immortal beings with insane team utility lol. Its just worse ww monk. So yeah I disagree completly

@@ChrittyMedia You'll prob be good with either, just whichever is more fun to you.
Devastation isn't getting nerfed by 6%, its a 6% INCREASE to all abilities
oh shit, I totally misread that lol.

Hey man great break down, will you do that with every patch notes that come out?
Yeah, that's the plan!
Nerfing brewmasters chi burst by 62.5% is overkill and stupid af
