Fkin'.. Gorgeous, Bernie! Love his curt nod of appreciation at the end. > it takes some realz to get the feelz...in the songwriting game. Ironic to the song's theme...Bernie can't break our hearts without having his own heart break. And that's what makes poignant ballads that "hit"...so special....they really do show our hearts break... something otherwise, never really seen.. Ugh! Profundity overload! Just.....nice ballad, Bern-meister!
This is one of the best live versions of this song. Kills me every time. I'm pretty sure half of the 80,000 views were from me! Miss these guys. Maybe a reunion tour in the future?.........
It is indeed. Very well played, sung and recorded. One of my favourite Powderfinger songs. My kids love it as a result of me playing it all the time....
Perfect! I grew up with this great Australian band and was fortunate to see them a few times, there songs mean a lot to me especially this one. Tough times don't last tough people do!
+Allan Jeffries Lucky mate. I was real young (and even younger when I stumbled across their music) when they came out with their last performance. Never got to see them sadly...
pointed this song out to many friends (Fans of Powderfinger), they had never heard it. Sad really, such a well written and composed song. It goes a bit beyond deep and meaningful depending on how you hear it and interpret it, truly one of their most touching songs. Love the band, love the blokes that created such a masterpiece.
For all those who try to hide their intense emotions from their loved ones or others. Whilst you think nobody knows how it feels, you could not be more wrong. Please reach out for help.
God only knows!! But thankfully because they never made it big in the UK, I got tickets to the farewell tour in Birmingham for almost nothing! :-D Wall to wall Aussies!! Great night, great band, great music!
@franky442 Black Tears and How Far Have We Really Come are a couple if by similar you mean slow. Both great songs...well I love Powderfinger so everything is great to me haha.
are there a lot of aussies in U.K? Saw them in Atlanta at a music festival and got the loudest reaction...that show made me a huge fan and went out bought all of their stuff
@franky442 It so does sound like them. Have you not heard any of their other slower songs? Bernard's voice is pretty recognisable, so this def sounds like them lol
Internationally, one of the most underrated Australian bands!
Conversely, the boys know they are hugely adored by (1) Queenslanders and (2) Australians. Don't get me started on the Brisbanites.
The best by far.
@@kaylene2508 New Zealand loves them too ❤
In the bridge...where the chorus noir does a 👇 key change... "Nobody sees our hearts break-" -sooo powerful!
Still come back to this amazing performance in 2024.
me too Stevo
chills listening to this again after all these yrs
No doubt these kick ass boys from the 90s are the greatest aussie band of all time ❤
Sometimes you're lost. No words to explain how or why. Then this. Perfect
saw this tour in Canberra on the lawns of Questacon, great show they were brilliant that night.
Woah, flashback, I worked this gig as an audio tech. YOU'RE WELCOME! Lol.
It was my only MAJOR LEAGUE job.

I only just stumbled upon it a month ago. One of my all time favourite songs from an incredible Australian band.
One of Aussies best 🇦🇺
So proud of these guys. And being a Brissy boy myself makes it all that more special....

So true. A lot of us have been there before.
One of my all time Powderfinger faves... because, well, no body sees........
We need to get these great Aussies songs to the United States somehow
they need to be uplifted .👽
Definitely. They don't know what they are missing. I've been trying though.
If they brought music like this the United States we would be called racist and everything this is a great song

I've never really listened much to powderfinger.
37 people who think that the dislike is the download
Just realised the lyrics are similar to Drive by The Cars
Very True
Probably people don't understand what real music is ? Remember this is a live performance
Why did Powerfinger never make it in the USA & UK??? Song like this they should have...
