Revisiting. I bought this bike 8 years ago, four days after watching this video. Still have it and love it.
Revisiting the video after 6 years! still a gem!
Already 4 years to the comment!! Revisited again today. Time flies.
Love Jaime's vids!! I'm a CHP officer and this road was one of my old beats i patrolled, i'm glad Jaime didn't join what we called the "West of One Club." I've seen many sportbikers leaving the MotoGP from Laguna Seca try this hwy at speeds way too fast...some became honorary members.
Exactly. I drove up that stretch at night once, which, if you don't have local knowledge, you can easily "over drive" your headlights at speed on some of those curves. I was overtaken by a couple of boy racers (locals, no doubt), modified BMW 2002 and Datsun 510 sedans. They were just flying.
Jamie's enthusiasm is always infectious...and his appetite! Got to fix myself a feed now ;)
For anyone interested in this trip...if Jaime had continued on the road where he camped, he would have come out at Bixby Bridge. Coast Road runs from Andrew Molera State Park to Bixby Bridge. Heading up there next weekend to celebrate the reopening of Highway 1!
Jamie, your videos are always infectious and truly show the spirit and joy that riding a bike can give you. thanks again!!
So glad TH-cam "recommended" I check one of these MotoGeo videos out after watching an older "Ride Apart" :) Absolutely LOVING this channel. I'm from CA so I want to make the cruise up highway 1 some day(Kind of need a motorcycle, though!). Great to see your ol' "Ride Apart" pal up in Laguna Seca :D
This is my back yard and I love riding these roads. Great video and channel. Thank you.
Very cool atmosphere; what o good ride you had, Jamie! Thanks for that!
Jamie, your Scrambler video inspired me to go out and buy a 2014 Scrambler - have never looked back ! Cheers mate
Finally - been waiting for the next great Jamie Robinson adventure video - thanks for making these!!
i was lucky i was able to be part of the last motogp race at laguna seca. a week before the motogp race i took a drive to big sur and i told myself " I HAVE TO DO BIG SUR ON MY MOTORCYCLE"
Another top job , looking forward to your next biking review
Brings back my Hwy 1 ride memory, can't wait to go again.
music great and audio perfect, scenery beautiful, video steady, great posting man and keep up the good work, i am enjoying every one of them
Great riding; great sight-seeing. Made me feel as though I was right there with him. Nice!!!
As always an excellent video with very subtle advertising. Great going mate!
Great video Jamie keep them coming....
If you ride a motorcycle, you MUST put California Highway 1 on your bucket list.
My advice would be to start just north of Santa Monica and avoid the crazy L.A. traffic.
The Riff in the first Song is so good
Jamie, been following your adventures and I was just thinking the other day when you were coming out with a cafe. Great video and keep up the good work. Love the adventure videos.
so cool video as always Jamie.
Yet another excellent video motogeo team, keep em coming
Was great meeting you at MotoGP! Keep up the great work!
Fantastic bike and GREAT road! Enjoy and safe riding man!

ok Jamie - every time i watch your vids, you make me 1. want to ride and 2. hungry.. another great video - cheers!
Reminding the Thruxton amazing video. This one is pure win also !! Top !! Ty Jamie and Nick.
Fantaaaastic video thanks!!! It reminds me of last year when we went on a wonderful business trip with my wife on a rented Hyundai Sonata in Carmel, Big Sur, Monterey and Laguna Seca .... I think I did something slightly wrong there, now I MUST go back and ride my Ducati on this magic road ;-)
Moto Guzzi V7 Racer...Grande Passione..need for a great video of a great bike!! ...indestructible engine
Love these videos
this has to be one of the best videos I have seen
I've just purchased two of your fancy shirts, i hope shippig to germany will be fast! Keep up the good work and thanks for the videos!
This dude is totally raw cafe. Love it. I rode the V7 its reminds me of the old bikes heavy but nice N torquey.
Good video,summer dreaming
Another great one guys! :)
Love this video
Morro Bay!!! Just got my first bike. I will be headed there soon. 20 min ride from home. Awesome video man!!!
We spotted you at laguna so I couldn't wait for this video to come out. Great job! Hopefully we can spot you again at Indy!
Nicely done, fella!
love it! great showing of the central coast! next time hit pismo and grover beach
Love your vids! Perfect bike too!
Did the same ride a few month ago. A must if you love riding.
Incredible!
Great Job !
Truly amazing!!!
Great video! Go on and stay health. Regards from a Guzzi rider in Germany.
brilliant ride...
Jamie..you ride a motorcycle better than anyone i've ever seen :) as a former TT rider, and the Legend that led the British 250 GP we couldnt expect more from a fellow Yorkshireman :)
Still remember Jamie v Chris Walker at Knockhill, probably the best race there, outside the 250cc go-cart World Championship round (most metal thing I've ever seen)! :)
music is super cool, bike is just awesome
Nice little detour on Nacimiento-Fergusson Road. The views from up there can be spectacular! For those on ADV bikes, you really need to take the Old Coast Road from Big Sur to Bixby Bridge (thats where Jaime's camping), though as you can see part of it is hardpack.. Another nice detour is Palo Colorado, a few miles north of Bixby Bridge. See you at the WSBK race in July!!
:) Another picture perfect take Keep them coming.
glad you did, keep up the good work :D
I love this video 👍👍👍
Love that Run, so much so I did those same roads and my own camping before MotoGP 2 Where were you Jamie when I was camping on Fox Hills with my bike... See you next year?
Can't keep a Yorkshireman away from his Fish n' Chips. Fantastic video and no doubt led to some Guzzi V7 test rides by his subscribers.
look foward to these vid's
I CANT LIKE THIS VIDEO ENOUGH!!!
The best bike in this Channel
That looks like so much fun. Love big sur monterey carmel its all good
Riding up to here tomorrow from LA. Checking out some other places from motogeo videos over the next few days.
Well done you two
Este video es todo lo que debe ser 🎉
Best moto channel on TH-cam, so genuine. This episode was particularly good, too. I have to ask, when/where can I get one of those motogeo tees??
Very nice!
amazing trip..i like it
Awesome stuff Jamie. Could have been in New Zealand Kaikoura coast. Even the seals.. wow ? Good to see . Ok time you came down under and did New Zealand tour :)
Awesome 👍🏻
Great Film of a great road, great ride, but I would improve on the food shopping selection for the cook out. The fish and chips were OK. The GUZZI is a good looking bike. The V7 would fit in my garage for sure. Makes me whish I still lived in Ca.
this man has an amazing job...
I watch 100, s of these and believe me you are the best positively the best. Brainrotting is also pretty dam good but you give motorcycle adventure a greaat positive spin :)
This video makes me miss Hwy1/US1, feel the need to go left coast again.
What a beautiful capturing of an adventure... At 9:11 who is Rowsee? Hahaha Rossi Rossi Rossi!
Love that Moto Guzzi!
That bike is sweet looking and sounds freaking nice..😎👍
I agree so much I'm selling my V2K to get one. LOL It will not be chrome, though.
cool video...nice aventure...
thats so cool man
Been there, done that, would do it again. And again!
Great Moto Guzzi!
Vuoi ripartire oggi?
i have the US 40 pack, goin camping with it this weekend :)
I think I have a crush on MotoGeo videos.
Nice video. I have a 2010 Café Classic and wouldn't even attempt to ride it that far, but I am a little older than you.
good to see a little Wes cameo
hahahaha the security guard is hilarious
The best way to experience this stretch of Hwy 1 is to ride or drive during the week, like Jaime did here. Weekends can get crowded. Hell, even weekdays can get crowded too, but a lot less traffic.
I really wish Motogeo's videos would get more views so they wouldnt stop making videos like this.
Sure, you're quite lucky to have had the opportunity to do this ride when you did. The torrential rains of this season washed out the foundations of the Bixby Bridge and now the bridge has to be completely destroyed and rebuilt. How we won through Big Sur will be closed for a year or maybe more!
Bixby Bridge WAS NOT washed out! The damaged bridge is further south, over Pfeiffer Canyon, just below Big Sur proper. I was there last month. The bridge is due to be reopened at the end of September. However, the big slide at Mud Creek will keep Hwy 1 closed to through traffic
for at least a few years. When we were up there, there had been a slide at Lucia (this is now cleared) and the road was closed at Limekiln. We rode up and over Nacimiento-Fergusson and had the nine miles between Gorda and Limekiln to ourselves. There were spots available at Limekiln, Kirk, and Plaskett campgrounds.
Briiliant!!
Nice to see a Guzzi on your show! My favorite video yet.
Nice video. Makes you wanna go for a ride instantly. Does anyone know what jacket Jamie wears?
Fantastic, gonna go dust off the bike I forgot what I was missing, thanks!
Damn! you make me so jealous!
The fish & chips are pretty good in Lucia. The view is definitely better :)
