My walk with Jesus was only renewed a year and 4 months ago after 40 years of backsliding so I have much to learn from the Bible. One of the things I've found to be helpful is to take notes on each chapter as I read it. It does take a little extra time, but it not only helps me commit it to memory, it also make me stop and think and check cross references as I read. The Lord is blessing me abundantly after many dark years when I know I was grieving the Holy Spirit deeply (I ended up homeless and a victim of human traffickers), and reading at least a chapter each day while taking notes has also grown my prayer life immensely. It's just a suggestion that's working well for me. Thank you brother David for teaching and encouraging our family in Christ 🙏

Ask the Lord to give you improved physical and mental energy, as well as the discipline to pray & read the Word. I was the same as you, just always "too tired." When I said a prayer & asked God to give me what I needed --- He DID !! ❤ He will help you too !!! God give you many blessings, as you grow closer to Him ❤
Ask for energy but also know God still loves when you fall to sleep reading the Word it's kind of like when our child falls to sleep in our lap😊 We love them just being with us. I understand wanting to stay awake though. God bless you.

I realize this is an older video and I'm a little late to the game, but thank you for being obedient to the Holy Spirit in sharing this knowledge. I have only in the past few months started to seriously seek a relationship with the Holy Spirit, through reading the word and prayer. This teaching really helped me. I actually did what you suggested and set a 5 minute timer on my phone to pray. I've always had difficulty with prayer because my mind wanders easily. Knowing that I had a timer on helped me to focus, and I was actually surprised how fast the 5 minutes went by. I think I may have to start with 10 minutes and increase it from there!

I realized that unless I SCHEDULED prayer time & Scripture time each day, and committed to FOLLOW it, I would never reap all the blessings God wanted so much to give me. I get up at 4:30 am each morning, and say prayers for 2 hours. That might sound like a long time, but the time flies by. After that, I eat my breakfast & go about my day. After lunch, I read Scripture for 1-hours. At 3:00 pm, 2 more hours of prayer. Then at 7:30 pm, I do a Review of Conscience, say my night prayers and fall into a deep and peaceful sleep. Whenever I have been lazy about this, I literally feel a physical & mental change for the worse. God absolutely douses me in blessings, wisdom, discernment, improvement, revelations, love & peace. Everyone should do their best to set up a daily schedule (that works best for them) and try your best to stick to it. I promise you will be amazed at how much God will give you, grow you, and help you ❤

I have disciplined myself to pray every morning for at least an hour, and while in prayer reading God's Word. I read God's Word and pray before I go to sleep every night. I also talk to Him throughout the day. It's so Beautiful and Wonderful having a relationship with God! Nothing like it!! I still have more discipline to work on! @@mtw.abp.m I’ve been struggling. I think it’s because I stopped praying and reading my Bible like before. But I still have my faith. I still believe he can heal me and I’ll keep believing regardless. But I can say I do have a job now so that’s great. I didn’t have a job for a year. And he blessed me with this one. I am slowly but surely getting better
I had been addicted to pain medication from chronic pain. I cried out to Jesus and he delivered me from medication and cigarettes without any withdrawal symptoms. Ask and believe and ye shall receive. God bless you greatly.

Thank you, Pastor David Diga Hernadez. I really needed to hear your words today. Especially the part when you said "You are not the Lord". I cried in repentance. I had self-pity for myself because I couldn't have encounter with God everyday. I didn't know how to have discipline. My attitude was not correct for God. I just kept feeling frustrated about why I feel not energetic and have discipline when I know I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. Thank you for ministering me today. Thank you Lord for allowing me to watch this video today. I really needed this. I will stop waiting for my feelings, and I will choose daily do what i know I should do. And practice the law of stewardship. I'm just a temporary care taker of what God has given me. When I do well with what he has given me now, he will increase my responsibility. Does the way I manage time, glorify God? No...I don't know how to manage my time in the way that glorifies him. I want you to take this day as my offering. Not everyday is not worthy as offering. Can you turn to Lord, and say this is offering for you. Does that offering bring him joy? You have to learn to budget time like you budget your money. Discipline without organization can become activity without productivity! You have to structure your day. Write it down, how do I be a good steward of my time? Self deception of worst kind! Thinking eventually everything will come together! Productivity glorifies God! Opposite waste the hour. Resting or sleeping their purpose away. Everything God does has system, order, discipline. Laziness aimlessness lack of intention is flesh. God does everything with order, always effective, discipline, intention, and Help me holy spirit! Oh Lord, I pray that I this year will be the year of transformation.

Excellent David, every word, I am totally in. When I asked the Lord decades ago what He wanted me to be, He didn’t answer with an occupation/calling/mission but instead immediately replied: To be humble, contrite, and amazingly simple. The first two are obvious but I’ve pondered through the yrs what He means by ‘amazingly simple’ and I believe you’ve outlined it here as living a disciplined life, as Mary chose His presence instead of Mary’s rushing activity. We are to choose the daily disciplines of prayer & Word. Saving this for permanent viewing. My best days are still ahead!🔥

20:32 I have had a habit of watching a video of you and then reading the word, and praying. It really helps. My Daughter had surgery and I helped with Grandson. I then had my son in for Christmas, and it through off my morning start up of prayer, video and reading. I keep telling myself I was going to do it but I did exactly as this video described slept a little longer and boy oh boy. It’s like doing something with discipline for our spiritual life is for us, some say we don’t have to it’s man made, in fact many things we do for our worldly bodies require discipline, and compliance yields rewards. Coming to God is always a choice that benefits us. Schedule God first the rest works.
