My best advice for those struggling with PMCs 1. Use distance - they won't aggro quickly over 200m 2. Go at night - their aggro range is DRASTICALLY lower at night 3. DO NOT RE-PEAK - I see this get my friends shot all the time, they repeak after an AI beams you. Know they are going to hard lock onto that spot for 30 seconds + 4. Use Grenades to get them to move - they 're like bosses, they kinda break when you throw nades 5. Use Scopes - This allows you to take shots from odd angles or behind cover. 6. Use 35+ pen ammo - A LOT of "cover" in tarkov is wall bang material. 7. RUN FIRST - Unless you are in the wide open, don't try to return fire immediately. Sprint to cover, assess, then repeak from a different angle 8. PREFIRE in CQB - AI parts will clip through surfaces or will flag their muzzle, start shooting as you round the corner to swing on them... they're quick, but not that quick. I have over 80% survival rate, 3100 kills (about 500 PMCs), level 48 and 112M rubles
You should only re-peak if you know what your doing, even then against AI its not a good idea. Essentially PMCs have Raider AI, tweaked to make them more mobile and they can have far more dangerous gear. But their AI skill can vary widely from making timmies look skilled, to straight up aim hacks
