    This is exactly what I want to do...except for the curtain. Do you have to sew the piping? Great video!

    The end result is ⭐⭐⭐ stars. stripes on the side are not straight and you need to use more staples when attaching the piping , that way it will look better. Always cut out excess fabrics when doing the folds/corners, that way it doesn't look 2 bulky. That's my professional subjection.

    This is a pelmet. That is the correct word to describe this item - it is not a cornice.

    It is better to make the board deeper to allow for the movement of the curtains underneath.

    what if I wanted to use more than 1 fabric on the front, how would I attach each one?? If I staple each one then the foam would become dented in??

    What did you call the board that holds the cornice box on the wall? How wide should it be?

    ...or you can use brackets to fix the cornice to the wall.
