OPTIMIST SAILING - How To Kite Downwind | [Light Conditions]

Kiting is a technique to used on the downwind leg and is easy to do. Some sailors like to hold the centreboard but I don't recommend it because it shakes the boat too frequently. In this video I break-down some tips on how you can achieve a consistent kite.
