What a lot of newbies struggle with is spacing and proportions. A tip would be to look at the end result and keep the spacing in mind when you're doing the guidelines and make sure you know which lines are for what. Start with a vague shape like an oval for the eyes to make sure the size and position is right for all the features before detailing
yes, you're right softerz . It takes time to get better. I know it won't be easy, and at times it'll be frustrating to not draw correctly but you'll get really good at it. And if you're not good at art, try something different or something you've never tried before, you might surprise yourself. 😊👌

When I began to draw, I thought "hmm.........the nose should be big." After few minutes "eyes..............it should be big? Maybe. Began to draw the mouth " the mouth should be small." In the end " what am I drawing?!"

The most problematic thing I find while drawing faces is, drawing the other eye in a right way because of which I cover the other half of the face with hair.
