Nice idea! Btw, I shall say it feels good to get a comment from someone who inspired me to get into Touchdesigner back in the day 😅 thanks for that dude!
@@noonesimg True! But with the optical flow you get a color outpur which is great if used with particles for example, cause it also depicts the velocity (?) or direction
I'm not sure why this happens but for some reason, the video does not poduce any lag/delay after setting the Time Machine parameters. Also, the image completely disappears after changing the operation to Subtractive. Do you have any suggestions for these issues?
awesome, thanks! this can be used nicely with an analyse top to make something move or happen only if there's motion :)

Btw there's the "Optical Flow" in the palette which can be used for this as well.
Yeah, you can, but it's a bit twitchy when used with a webcam :)

wow this was great, id be curious how to apply that particle effect you mentioned
the tutorial is great and clear, the fact that is super short is perfect. Maybe you can just lower the music a little bit
Thanks! I'm still figuring out the right volume levels :)
You can also use a cache and cache select with a difference TOP to reduce the one second of lag! Nice Tutorial!

Are u able to put this over a video instead of a camera. Or if u have a 3d file use the camera in the seen.

Hi there, would you be interested in give me a few private lessons online?
Never done such a thing, would be cool to give it a shot, dm me on Instagram @noonesimg
Slow down! It's clear you know stuff, but going through everything so quickly doesn't do anything for the learner.
