In my opinion TH-U is simply the best (soundwise) and most versatile guitar plugin in the market. I would love to see in the future a hardware unit, like the Bias Head for example, or in a pedalboard format like headrush with a huge touchscreen with the TH-U signal chain and some knobs and foot switches. It would be a winner! Keep up the good work :)
One other tip to other users ... to purchase rig libraries you’ve bought for desktop, you’ll need to tap top right orange line menu, then Store to purchase , if you own it the iOS discount makes it $0.99 (Love this model). BUT after purchase you’ll have to then go to Purchase History, and tap Orange bar “Restore All Purchases”. Hope this helps.

I own some Neural DSP plugins, STL and Bias FX2 and I have to say that TH-U blew my mind. To make it short, since I installed TH-U, I have just been playing. I don't tweak, I don't turn knobs or browse IRs. Every preset makes me wants to play immediately. I still cannot believe that I have so much pleasure and fun on my iPad. Brilliant !!!!!
Could be a nice contender for iOS ecosystems but without IAA, Audiobus and AUv3, it’s basically a stand alone app and kind of useless for recording currently. The tones are decent, there is a fizziness associated with the higher gain amps that can be removed with some EQ tweaks but not bad for a first launch. Let us know when the full iOS support will be available and it will get more use.
I can’t be harsh but agree that once AUv3 / IAA connectivity is added this sim definitely goes to the top of the list. As a first v1.0 release I’m pretty floored by how much they got right. * sound = absolutely phenomenal * inheriting credentials from your Overloud account ( don’t even mention my harrowing experience w Positive Grid support using Bias FX2 bundle on 2 iPads linked to different Apple IDs) I bought TH-Full one mine, and one-click restore purchase on my wife’s iPad Pro and I’m in business - simple ) * prev purchased Rig Libraries for $0.99 are a nice gesture and compel me to buy others on desktop that I had been on the fence whether to purchase. * UI / UX is done fairly well, though I did get slightly confused navigating from tone bank to tuner, etc * the pricing description I presume will be made more clear, that TH-U full includes all effects and pedals, though even after purchase the store still shows price tags on items I already own, instead of purchased * MIDI implementation seems well executed I feel Overloud nailed so much on the first try, a,axed how polished this v1.0 is What they missed - import from desktop patch banks works, but should be one global system wide Export / Import. Overloud Audio Tools I knew I put my money on the right horse in this amp sim arena, and stand by my past and ongoing investments to have the best tones I’ve ever had. TH-U make me feel that I sound far better than I deserve, and it’s inspirational. Happy to hear AUv3 on the roadmap!! Cheers 🍻
Will this ever have external IR support? I just saw the IR cabinet is there but it is unavaliable. As soon as this feature works, i will buy the complete product.
Hi Sergio, currently the TH-U iOS IR Cabinet is just a player for presets created with the Desktop version. If you have the Desktop version, you can prepare presets with your IRs and load them into the iOS version. Since we are redesigning the Cabinet IR, the new version will be available on iOS as well with 100% features.
If you're just playing live or practicing, then this is cool. If you are into iOS Music Production, this is useless. I get that the AUv3 standard is difficult to program, but not having InterAppAudio or AudioBus capabilities really makes the app a no go for many of us. There are many cats like me who've moved to iOS exclusively in our home studios. I have bought every guitar amp sim worth mentioning (Bias FX 1/2, Amplitube, ToneStack) and the Nembrini apps that have been released this past year are excellent. They are doing AUv3 and it makes all the difference in the world for production. Imagine recording on a ProTools rig without plug in support. IAA is kind of like the TDM of iOS since Apple said they're going full on Audio Units. But IAA still works, at least it's something. You'll have a slew of buys if you can update the app with some connectivity. Good luck... JohnRSIV

Have a lot of issues... no audio inter app (no recording?!), volume on my iPad/iPhone is always on max using apogee jam plus... volume rockers just don’t work... hope you’ll update it soon...
I use the predecessor Apogee jam 96k (requires iPad headphone jack) and it behaves the same as in BiasFX or ToneStack for me. I wonder if the extra gain adjustment on the Jam Plus might have a defeat button??
