Everything else was dogshit. The characters have poor, unclear motives that don't fit them at all, the writing and script are ass, and the plot falls apart under the lightest criticism.

@@GuruPrashanth7970 ehh, it was alright but I wouldn’t elevate it to “art.” an artistic movie would be more like David Fincher, Wes Anderson, Tim Burton, Tarantino even to a stretch - people who’s movies are so distinct you can tell who they’re directed by from nearly any scene. A dark filter isn’t an artistic style. Snyder’s only on par with JJ Abrams, Michael Bay, etc. Someone like Christopher Nolan or Gore Verbinski would be in between. 300 is still Snyder’s magnum opus he’ll never surpass, the only movie of his I would actually consider art.
As for “people who can’t think for themselves,” LOL the movie in theaters was trash. The Snyder cut helped alleviate most of its problems but the conflict resolution was still just as cringey. Lex Luthor was the best part of the movie even though most people who liked it hated him. Also Snyder’s Justice League cut was somehow even worse than the theatrical release?? I’ve never felt like I wasted time watching a movie until I sat thru that 4 hour headache.
@@dopendous 300 is one of Snyder's weakest films imo. All style and no substance. Just full on hardcore action. (that was the point tho) also, it isn't a "dark filter" Snyder has so many auteuristic vision and eye for visual storytelling that's so unique.

Stop comparing directors like they all do the same thing. Each director has a unique look into characters, story, visuals etc. Snyder does films the way he does. It isn't similar to Michael bay or David Fincher, it's his distinct style. The same goes for all directors. Now whether he is a good director or a bad director is open to one's interpretation.
