the first time I saw Mirio and people were crushing on him and glorifying him I was like bish he isn't even that special I could think of better heroes than him, but when I saw the fight between him and overhall, I was shocked like how isn't this dude the main charachter, like even after loosing his quirk with his training and experience he could still kick overhall's ass, if Eri wasn't there he could do something but he had to protect her and save himself at the same time, this Dude is a legend.
If eri wasn't there he wouldn't have done just anything.... He would have destroyed overhaul.... Overhaul admitted that he was stronger of the two.... I can even go as far as saying that he would have killed shigaraki.... Though I haven't read manga but I can't think of anything shigaraki could really do against mirio....

Overhaul was ready to attack...midoriya was unable to see this...if, they would have fought then.., midoriya or anyone else would have died... mirio thought of everyone else.. not just Erie.. that's how a real hero thinks.

Look I know that Mirio was the top choice for Allmight to recive one for all, but that doesnt mean Deku deserves to be bashed. Mirio has at least 2+ years of experience and training while Deku is only a beginner. Its not fair to compare the two like their equals . I think that Deku was the right choice for one for all cuz like Allmight said to Bakugou" I thought he deserved to be in the running". Deku had no quirk of his own, but Mirio does and we saw the flashbacks of his earlt days he struggled at lot with his quirk and he became one of the top three students at UA. It really makes me sad that a lot of the comments are people saying Mirio should be the inheritor of One for All. Please remember that Midoriya had a very similar scenario happen to him when he faced Muscular. The biggest difference, and the main reason I believe that Midoriya is the rightful heir, is that Mirio went into this fight against Overhaul as prepared as a hero can be. It was a planned attack that was going as well as most people wished plans would go. Mirio was beating overhaul in the beginning of the fight and only "Lost" (Heroes never lose) to Overhaul once he was hit with the quirk erasing bullet. On the other hand you have Midoriya vs Muscular. A completely unprepared fight verses an overwhelming opponent. Yet Midoriya went into that fight thinking he was going to die, but knowing he wasn't going to let Kota die. He surpassed insurmountable odds which fits well with the theme of "Plus Ultra". I say this a lot since Mirio vs Midoriya comes up a lot in this fandom but I will say it again. One of these scenarios is made for heroes, the other scenario makes heroes.

Everyone is comparing izuku to mirio without acknowledging the fact that mirio had more time to perfect his quirk, and has more experience. That does make him a better candidate considering the requirements, but, izuku has great potential and is indeed required to carry one for all because only he can manifest it's true condensed powers. The way izuku has developed himself to shoulder the quirk strength is amazing.
