I almost had it too.
For the twins, the one in the back isn’t a healer, it’s a distant combatant called the arbalest. So like a spitter, it backs off when you get close. Which is why explosives work better than direct fire, spreading out damage more evenly. And drones were obviously pretty pants.
I just instinctively call the other one the healer cause it's weaker, and more of a "mage" type. So it's just a natural reaction haha.

For cryo drone and the other weak weapons, you may just have to rush the drop and hope/reroll for a weapon box to win with something else better.
I might actually ban the weapon box in my videos going forward. It feels like cheating haha.

Tried the weapon masteries last night. Started with the shotguns. I feel like they are going to take a bit, and/grind to full upgrades.
Yup, it’s not easy. Lot of grinding gonna be needed.
The Twins only heal if their Hp is too unbalanced ^^

i think the order of the masteries is kinda off. i feel class into biome and weapon last makes more sense but... in general i really like the update tho.
there is no healer among the dreadnought twins. there is the ranged one and the melee one but BOTH can heal the other guy.
i think h5 cryo guard could have worked out if you would have gotten more damage. the potency is nice but i think its a trap in this mode. if you just freeze the bugs but dont kill them, they will add up and swarm you. that was the issue on the first floor: it took way too long to kill the elites because you got way to less damage boosts. of course: movement, mining and defensive stats are important but i think the way too go is damage, damage and reload. of course: better artifacts and a slight rework of the ai for the drones could also help.
for normal modes: cryo potency is nice, yes. but for one weapon run? they got frozen, they thaw, they go after you. in general i think for weapon masteries its only about offense. you dont have the additional weapons which can do their roles. hence why i think the thunderhead may be way more difficult then you think. yes, it is an absurdly powerful gun but it only shoots in one direction per reload cycle. and you cant control the direction. so you will lack in terms of crowd control big times with the thunder head, even with the storm e-mag.
It's just a natural reaction to call the other one "the healer", but ya, I get how the mechanic works.
What is weapon potency exactly and how important is it?
Potency stacks the status faster so for cold you'll freeze them faster.

I tried this on H4 last night about 5 times and got close on one of them. Just seems like damage is always an issue even if you stack as much as you can.
Ya, this ones tough...I came really close though, so I'll get there. I think it's helpful to grind some of the other masteries first too. So get masteries on caverns, and scout...that way you'll be a bit stronger. I'll revist this one once I get the hazard 5 masteries for those.
And more meta progression of course.
