I mean they knew their OL was going to be a weakness they had to scheme around and they knew the Bucs had pass rushers and the best run defense in the league. They also knew they have several playmakers that can take a shallow cross and go 60 yards. Yet they insisted on running 7 step drops out of empty sets with no RB or TE help in protection with long developing routes and pass plays, and Mahomes was harassed all night (he still balled out though)

I think what Rob misses is that most of the mystique around Tom is that his teammates all love him and believe in him. He has a good defense because they give 100% effort due to the fact they like him as a person, and they know that he’s all in and giving max effort on his side of the ball. Whether or not he’s the best football thrower does not matter. He’s just a good dude and tries to build confidence in people.

Defense don’t work if you don’t have a good offense. Last year they were 7-9 and most importantly Bruce Arians changed the offense for Brady. They don’t get pass the saints with another QB. Especially with how they pressure and Bruce Arians risk or biscuit offense.

First all, remove rings from the equation, Brady still holds nearly every NFL passing record, so he's the most decorated AND most statistically dominant.
He talks about Andy Reid's resume without the ring...well what's Bellichick's without Brady? He's a coach with a losing record, fired from Cleveland who was on the hot seat with Bledsoe at QB until Brady took over.
Note how he lists the 2 Superbowls where the defense was incredible and Brady was either just handed the starting role, or completely bereft of talent on offense. We've seen that offense without Tom, it was bottom of the entire league.
If you remove those two games in question, Brady's defenses have averaged allowing 26 points a game in the Superbowl. That's hardly the 85 Bears. How does he explain the Superbowl where Jake Delhomme dropped his second biggest total of the season, 29 points, Brady got 32...I guess that was a great defensive showing Rob?
