When he said he wished he were dead, but just by looking at him you can tell he's a deeply introverted and possibly self-torturing genius. It was actually quite beautiful in his sincerity right there. If anything I found the director lacking in verbal communication skills. I knew what he meant, HE just couldn't get it out. Sarah took over phenomenoly.
i kind of get why Caleb would avoid going online, because tbh, the internet gets scarier and scarier when you're famous.. I also think it's a good and innovative thing, but only up until a certain point. I like his socks.
J. G. I agree with u too u see he doesn’t have a Twitter Account but his fans made him one but he does have a Instagram but really hasn’t gone on it much anymore I understand how he feels about the internet he’s a private person he likes to keep things to himself and not let everyone know some people are like that Ik I am
oh my goodness, Caleb is so introverted and shy it's freaken adorable!!! I can spot introverted and shy people from a mile away because I am exactly that myself, so I totally get where Caleb is coming from without question.
bless the poor interviewer, it would be hard keeping them all on track - Sarah did really well with her responses but Caleb was all over the place and being super contentious
I thought they were high initially. but having rewatched I feel like all three of them just didn't want to be there in any capacity. Sarah says she was hungry/distracted, Caleb seemed gloomy, and Brandon seemed in over his head or like he was disassociating. Sarah had an air about her like she was over the project and the two of them both at that point lol.
no he doesn't. just because you don't like his attitude or way of being doesn't mean he's an "idiot". to me he comes off as a wise, dark, introverted person. but of course you're entitled to your own opinion :)
I personally loved this entire interview. She was spot on with every answer. She's incredibly articulate and I can tell she's an intellectual. Caleb was slightly awkward but to point out that's MOST of his appeal (much like Johnny depp). His answers were VERY deep to a point that I think most people didn't understand it. To be honest that's a redhead thing, can't really explain it but we can kind of read each other's minds with unfinished thoughts and just get it. The only really strange bit was
This interview was awesome to watch; so much more so than most shit interviews. And it was even good in spite of the fact that the guys asking the questions kind of sounded like an idiot. The actors were just giving very thoughtful answers and even challenging the interviewer at times haha. For everyone who is commenting on how awkward Caleb is, I really think you should be a little more sympathetic. True: he may have sounded a little pretentious and hostile at times, but I would mostly chalk that up to nerves (the guys clearly not the most social). Now add on the disposition of being a person who truly cares about what you say and wants to make sure that it is really a statement you believe in (a lot more difficult than most people tend to think) and an interview can become a pretty high pressure and stressful situation. So if you give the guy a little break, I think you'll find that he's actually pretty insightful, and rather dignified. However, his reply about muscle memory really surprised me haha, I thought he would elaborate on the psychological effects as opposed to the physiological, but on second though, I guess the unconventional reply does suit him rather well. And for the record: although it sounds shallow, I just have to say that I could just stare at a picture of Sarah Gadon forever, one of the most gorgeous women I have ever laid eyes on. And yes, to state the obvious, she is very articulate and sounds quite intelligent as well.
There isn't a bit of professionalism to be found between those two guys. The lady is the only one who saved this. This interview isn't a personal profile, it is about the movie that you would like people to see. The interviewer isn't your psychologist, he is here for the art. Speak about the movie, have some light banter and be courteous. I'm sure there are a 100 actors and actresses who wish they were dead but they aren't half as pretentious.
I really think it was a bad idea make this interview that longer, even Sara looked depressed at the end. what a creepy stuff. I dont know what happen with Caleb, he used to be smiley and great guy, but he acts like a looser in this one (Everyone can have a bad day, I guess). I cant stand that Darth Vader´s voice from Brandon WTH!!!! Thumbs up for the interviewer!!!!!

I thought he was sort of rude and egocentric here , I felt bad for the interviewer
@@melinamast2936 a simple bad day which we all have on occasion.
It's so strange that Caleb is from Texas - the way he speaks, the pauses, emphasis, etc. sounds like someone speaking English as their second language
bless the poor interviewer, it would be hard keeping them all on track - Sarah did really well with her responses but Caleb was all over the place and being super contentious
There's something really unsettling about everyone's demeanor in this interview.
Someone get these people some valium or xanax, shit.

Калеб так забавно одет. Я в восторге. 😁❤
I've never seen a DP/30 interview quite like this one. Raw. Blunt. Individualistic.
Damn right

Holy shit, Caleb gets really dark in this interview.
The only reason that the movie was good was because caleb was in it!
I don't think he's trying. I think the opposite, actually. He just didn't feel like trying to come up with a lie to avoid an awkward silence.
I think he must hv Been high also that time
I'm glad I'm not the interviewer x) !

I 100% agree with this whole comment from you!!!
I love Caleb.. He acts like me. c:
If they ever make a Metallica movie Caleb could play Cliff Burton.
I love this Caleb
but the things he said in this interview was like....idek.
awkward lol
hes always awkward
sort of child-like, a gravitas free zone but I guess it has its audience
I was born in the wrong country and at the wrong time

what happend to caleb??
Exactly- pretentious- is how i would describe his(Calebs) behaviour.
he's lost his mind
Daddy son's make his attempt at directing...
Brandon's vocal fry is really annoying me
And it was pretty fucking good.
brandon's voice is really hot though imo xD

This movie is great... I just wanted them to get away from talking about balls o_O
That kid is trying waaaaaay to hard to be edgy.
That’s what I’m saying. And people keep falling for it saying he’s a “tortured genius” lol
