Yeah that was strange for sure. But we know this kind of stuff happens .. being in the hobby as long as some of us have. But a great little guide for someone new to this Thanks for sharing bud.
@Basskingdom7 no it does not run hot, you can actually run both NiMh or Lipo but you’ll get better running time on Lipo. The summit takes two batteries, so it runs on 4S, I run 5000 mA and I usually get 30 to 40 minutes runtime.
That was certainly a curious issue with the steering. That was new for me, had never seen it before. Surprised you didn't just go with one more powerful servo instead of keeping the dual setup.
Well it is more powerful than the stock Servo, the Traxxas stock servo is 9 kg and this one is 20kg so now I have twice as much power as before. Thanks for watching
Helped me through everything,great vid

despite what the manufacture claims or what it says on the servo, I'd always DIY waterproof them. awesome vid !
Made short work of that job! Great edit!

Great video! This will definitely help! Do you use Ni MH batteries or lipo batteries.
Thank you for the nice comment, I use lipo
@@TheTankRC does is run hot? How long can I run two 2s lipo’s safely?

5:50 i love filling that cover with dielectric grease😅
I dont know, you didn't spend at least $300 on Savox servos. You're gonna lose some street cred cause of that. LOL👊🍻
Darn you noticed, I was hopping no one would... Thanks for stopping by
