100% I don't see why anyone even superchats Efap anymore. If you want to support them just buy them a superthanks. Even when they do read them 6 months later they can't even remember what they were talking about. LOL
Really? I rarely watch mauler outside of open bar real bbc or FNT. Seems not like something he would do with how much he and Ryan wanted to cover supers on the theory seat wars streams they did
Every once in a while I hear one of the efap main crew mention a super chat and they discuss it. It's at most 1x/2x an 8 hour steam. EFAP is just not formatted to include them as part of the show, but they do seem to be scene reasonably live. Open bar would be a great place to ask him about super chats for EFAP.
57:01 The Nazgul also didn't think they needed to take on Aragorn. The Witchking had stabbed Frodo with the Morgal blade, which they figured would corrupt him pretty fast and put him under their control. Then they wouldn't need to fight Aragorn they'd have the Ring back, and it'd be over.
Sounds like a boring waste of time. Not to mention a waste of money. The loneliness of you people is so pathetic. Old men that need a friend. Boys that need a dad. Sad😁
@ that lance’s comment is further confirmation that drinkers channel is a sad waste of time and money. So boring. Old men paying for the sensation of a friend. Boys paying for the sensation of a dad
I have a 1 season rule. If it’s a show on Netflix or something that looks interesting, I stop after season 1 if I made it that far (though I don’t watch many shows). I watched Blood of Zeus a while back and stopped after season 1. It told a story and I enjoyed it, but I really don’t need to see them ruin or change the characters. (Idk if the next few seasons are bad, I just didn’t want to spend the time.) This method saved me from Westworld’s bad seasons also.
(Those who must die) is an amazing romanic epic that is historically accurate with anthony hopkins & ramsey bolton, plus many more. It's brilliant, amazon video.
2:00 I would probably vote for Lee myself, although the choice between these three isn't that obvious. Karloff had a brilliant speaking voice, allowing him to be both evil and charming, while Price's voice was so damn unique and easily recognisable!
Regarding digging graves, I have only ever dug one person grave, but lots of horse graves. For people graves in a cemetery the thing to watch for is the people juice that seeps out of the ground.
So buzzed for the short film and, hopefully, the resultant TV series. Maybe the Drunkler will get really lucky and hire the Rangs of Girl Powah writers. 🤣
I had the OG StarWars VHS box set. We moved when I was a kid so we had to sell everything… Now that I’m an adult I am so pissed that I let my mom sell it 😅
I have the Laserdisc box set of the OG Star Wars trilogy and the DVD set they made off the Laserdisc masters. They are all their OG first day of theatrical release versions.
I don't know why I always find myself visualizing everything, but when Drinker said he probably got 'dragged' to some town as a kid, I couldn't help but picture little eight-year-old Will with his lip set as he's getting his little butt parked on a bench somewhere and his gameboy pried from his clutching hands, being told, 'enjoy the damn scenery, already' or whatever the Scottish equivalent is of that parental directive. Picturing Drinker as a kid makes me laugh.
First season, yes girl was hot. Not so sold on second season version. Weird facts. Malcolm McDowell was in an episode, and a couple other notables. It was filmed in part in Halifax Canada...not a hotbed of Film or TV so kinda hilarious.
How can anyone talk about sea shanties without a mention of 'Frigging in the Rigging' by some of the Sex Pistols from the pretty poor film 'The Great Rock and Roll Swindle'
A "bad" show that I love, well, it’s two actually. Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. They are not the best written shows out there, characters can be quite shallow, and often Vivziepop tries to create payoffs to something with no setup. But, I still like them. And the latest Helluva Boss episode,”Mastermind”, is much more serious, and is probably my favorite episode of the show. It had none of the cringe sex jokes, it took itself seriously, played it straight, and it was good. It proved Vivziepop can write good shows, but she seems to feel the need to put in a bunch of cringe sex jokes to be “edgy”.
@@TheUnmitigatedDawn I agree. They aren't bad in my opinion, I like them, just poorly written. My biggest issue is the safe edgy attempts at jokes that are often just "Swearing=funny". Another issue I have is worldbuilding. Vivziepop is terrible at it. Crucial aspects of the worldbuilding are only referenced on Twitter, or on livestreams on channels that aren't hers. The actual shows is pretty scant on worldbuilding, and you need to basically stalk her Twitter and other profiles to learn things that should be in the episodes. Like in "Mastermind", when Satan says "I ruled the endless dark since long before the golden angel's fall". Viv said on Twitter he's lying out of his ass, but the only hint we get to that in the episode is Bee and Ozzie rolling their eyes.
I think a late tomb raider could work. Youd need to ask what kind of story eould lara croft be interesting in. The same way they out wednesday addams in a murder mystery. I would dispense with the cave diving for ancient treasure and put her in a business drama where shes protecting her family fortune, pushing the character to build new skill sets. I draw in legit history for each episode, tie an ancient artifact in play for a given episode to an interesting historical story with parallels to the events of the episode.
Iean rheon i think is the best actor to emerge from game of thrones in terms of talent and range. He was excellent in the dirt and played a completely different character.
I stopped watching Bojack Horseman at one point because the last episode I saw hit WAY too close to home. I mean that as a compliment to how well written it was.
It is an amazing show, the writing is spectacular. The one they made of the birds Tuca and Bertie with the female writer pales in comparison and the female writer was jealous AF claiming all sorts of anti Bojack stuff for the sake of feminism.
@@MelbourneArchvizI actually really liked Tuca and Bertie for how it deals with psychology, but it's mega-niche; BoJack is more accessible to wider audiences.
Arcane Season 2 is good. Just because it's not as good, to some people, as Season 1 doesn't mean it's a bad show. Mauler had Season 1 so high up on a pedestal and he serves as a bellwether for the others.
I agree with some of the efap criticism but I think they take it too far in some respects, and are flat out wrong in other respects. I'm not ant kind of super fanboy that LOVED season 2, though I do rate season 1 very highly. But I think season 2 is still mostly enjoyable if a solid step or 2 down in terms of writing.
Yeah, I've known all along that Mauler would be vocally disappointed with season 2. Season 1 was borderline a masterpiece and 3-ish years with constant praise only makes you remember it as even better. No matter what they did in season 2 it could never live up to the image Mauler has of season 1 in his head. I agree with some criticisms thrown at season 2. It was rushed and they relied on music montages a little too much for example. But while season one had a positive hype train around it with everyone and their mom praising it as much they could, season two had the opposite since it was a downgrade from season one. Humans are pack animals, just as you can start a chain of praise you can start a chain of hate that easily spirals out of control. It's been a few days now since season two ended. If I were to rate both season with the mind state I have right now I would probably rate season one between 9-10/10 and season two at between 7.5-8.5/10. Season two was a downgrade, yes, but it was not as bad as the negative anti-hype train makes it out to be.
@@mrfafaa96 That is not true at all. Season two has a LARGER hype train behind it thanks to season one's reputation and that bandwagon is why so many people like season two at all. On its own merits season two is just MCU slop. If Arcane's writing was always this bad barely anyone would be saying that season two was worth a dam. It is carried by fanboyism.
I think there's woke elements but it's not preachy so I forgive it. But man some of the chicks' arms are so shredded you'd think they're Arnie in his prime. And I totally buy Vi being tough, and I like her fight club montage actually, but I'm sorry there's no way a girl gets in a ring with a bunch of tough male fighters and kicks one ass after the other. Maybe one or two if they're younger, but just the idea that that's feasible is ridiculous.
For me it's whether the female characters have flaws that the show recognizes and delves into instead of making excuses. Big reason I like Dune Prophecy is the main woman is a deeply flawed character and, while she makes speeches about how men are weak and need a woman's guidance, the whole plotline is reality biting her in the ass and calling her out on her hubris, as her master-plans shoot themself in the foot as she desperately tries to assert control, in vain. Boring, probably. Woke? Not at all.
That’s a bit far, it’s much closer to Game of Thrones S6 I’d say because it focuses heavily on scale over story but still manages to have some brilliant writing buried under plot holes and the flaws
I find it funny that Drinker's like 'Sorry for taking so long' while with Mauler who's like half a year behind on his superchat catch ups

It would be a perfect way to end the war arc with a bang.
Look for the "Despecialized" versions of the original trilogy, fan-made, of course. They're great. 👍
I did, and bought bootlegged burns of them. The Rodent House won’t get a dime from me.
There's also projects like SW 4k77 restoring the OG trilogy in all their glory from the old 35mm film tapes
