Love this! I’m doing the same thing with my grandpas old 93 Sears Craftsman LT4000. The 18hp opposed twin still in great shape. The fuel pump took some getting used to when cleaning the carb. Sat in the barn since I was a kid so it’s to be expected…It’s a Sherman Tank compared to what the neighbors are cutting with lol thanks for sharing this video.
I really wish somebody like this would help me with my new mower. Maybe i just need to clean the carb and get a good battery. Im real stuck on the wiring end of things.
Those dirt tires look awesome on it who needs a quad when you can build a mud mower I grew up in Tennessee through the 90's and 2000's and my dad Built all 4 of us our own mud mowers he also Built us all mini rail Buggys out of riding lawnmowers and he built a Side by Side UTV similar to a Polaris Ranger before Polaris ever made a Polaris Ranger they Polaris Honda Artic Cat Can Am Yamaha all copied our Patten to Tin Lizzy and made their UTV Side by Sides do you have a Facebook if so I'll send you a picture of the new Tin Lizzy UTV Side by Side similar to Polaris Ranger Tin Lizzy has A 19 horsepower briggs Stratton 750 cc's
if i were you intend on keeping that hydro rear end i wold recommend restoring the govonor, you dont want to have drive that hydro or it wont last long. (i hope you put a geard rear on it)
I know this is old, did you clean/rebuild the starter on it? I’ve got the same motor & it seems like it needs a new starter, but I know you can clean them up a bit.

nice video. but you do know that your front tire do nothing but slow you down ? its not a 4x4 bro... there is a reason a 3wheller with 2 mud tire will outperform ANY 2wd 4wheeler with 4 mud tire. if you need better tire for turning , get slim tire. actually its basic physics.
A. I like the looks of these tires, B. taller are better when going over bumps or obstacles, and C. these turn better than the turf tires that were on it. It is basic physics. Thanks for you wisdom and for watching.

That is a rare oppy engine with an oil filter. They are hard to find and look great.

What tire sizes are those mud/all terrains? Would I still be able to use the deck by chance? Man they sure do look sharp.
The backs are 22X10X8, the fronts are 18's. I would think most decks would work with these tires. Good luck on your build and thanks for watching.
