Does anyone in the US know? is it normal to give your TIN to a company or person you are buying something from online in order to receive your package if you are buying from abroad. e.g. I'm trying to sell artwork from my website to US citizens, when i triall ran the UPS delivery its asking for my customers TIN in order to get through customs. Do I ask the customer directly or do they naturallly supply it as part of the transaction?
With this option on, do I need to start charging for each sale now? or do I wait to charge my buyers after I reach the threshold for that state. Waiting it out till I get a notification, means that I did not charge the customer before when they made the purchase and I did not save up money for when its time to pay the tax for that state. Can you share your feedback on my dilemma? Does the fee start from $0 on the next year or does this rollover? If I am at $99,000.OO on December 31st, will this start all over again? Thank you.

All great but how in the hell do you remit the taxes? I got the report for how much I owe but do I need to pay sales tax everyday?
Well that depends on your location and how they handle it. For example we live in Texas and we remit taxes through the Texas Comptrollers website. -C

The United States has over 50 states. Do I need to apply for a sales tax ID in each state?
It depends on each state. Thats why Shopify has created these features because they will alert you when you need to start collecting taxes.
