For high income earners, try to think of yourself as professional athletes, modernday gladiators, or entertainers. Your careers have very short time span. You could get injured, burned out, deemed unnecessary and get fired. So suck it up. Make as much and save or invest as much money for your second or third careers. Have a hobby and backup plans. Hey, making $120,000 is better than working for minimum wage of $7.25 per hour (federal) and $15 per hour (some major cities). Don't jump out of an airplane without a parachute. Plan ahead.

That is it. Millions of people in the States live with different levels of income. From a farmer to a mere worker, to the billionaires. Happiness in life is how to find your real purpose and the flourishing of your personality. Find your "raison d'être " and you are happy.

Yup! I’m a travel CRCST and I am part of the travel, strike, and independent contractor work force and I love it! I love the fact of being my own boss of choosing when will I work and when will I take a break all while making bank! As a Tech I make $100,000+ per year just by doing side gigs as a tech so I can only imagine all you nurses out their making bank. Let’s all get this money!!!

In Quebec nurses are considered an essential service so they can't go on full strike. But they can use other pressure methods like refusing the overtime or holding back non-vital paperwork for the administration.
If the hospital has to pay the big price to fly you in then in a way you become a form of pressure for the administration to solve the situation.

I’ve been intrigued by strike nursing since nursing school. Although I stand with certain things nurses may strike for, SOMEONE has to care for the patients still.
Hunnayyyy I’ll do it, sorry not sorry.
    Beautiful 😍

I’ve been looking and asking agencies about shorter contracts and they’re just like “ not possible . Most are 13, blah blah blah “

I think I'm going 2 try & do a quick strike assignment after my assignment is up n Jan. I want 2 take 2 months off & focus on school. It will allow me 2 stack really quick, so money won't b an issue. Now if the money is still good, I may do 3 day short assignments, if possible. Most agencies r showing 4 & 5 day assignments. U have 2 inquire about 3 day. I'm signed up with Krucial & US Staffing. I want 2 b ready 2 go ASAP if I do something with Krucial though.
Thanks 4 the video. This mandate is definitely bullying. I'm seeing a divide amongst staff n the hospitals I travel 2 that I've never seen b4 this mandate.

Hi :) May I ask, when strike nurses cross the picket line, do they stick together in order to protect each other? I would be afraid some staff nurses would try to hurt me by throwing things at me or attacking me to be honest. Great video!!

Great info! Do you pre-acquire licenses for different states or do it per assignment?
Also, was your Krucial housing ok & in which state(s)? I’ve never worked for them/haven’t done travel yet so I have no judgments. Just curious based on articles I’ve read on them. If you feel comfortable answering. Thx:)

    Hi nurse Queen ,
Your channel is very good and informative and I like your comments and personality.
Please I am foreign nurse in Nigeria preparing to write my nclex exam in USA .
I love California state and I don't know which i should choose to relocate to between southern California and northern California as a foreign nurse .
Please I would like you to give me an advice to choose a destination that will be okay for me as a foreign nurse .
Thanks . Your reply will be highly appreciated .

Thanks for watching. I can't advise you on that topic. Most foreign nurses do travel to california, although everyones experience is different. There's a large nigerian population on the eats coast btw (new york, jersey, dc etc). Hope this helps

I would def take a position like this..just making sure tho..basically you’re coming in and working when nurses refuse to work due to bad conditions of their job (pay etc).. so the facility would rather just hire travel nurses who are payed double rather than treat their nurses better? If so this is why I tell everyone do not be loyal to no job always chase the coin 🪙
