China's such a beautiful country full of history and culture must be a dream to travel around for a vlogger as its so vast and diverse. I hope you can someday do a trip to Xingjiang autonomous region
Hello there 👋🏼 it’s definately a ‘dream come true’ to experience China. I hope to return and explore new regions. I have noted your Xingjiang recommendation ☺️
A SUPERB video, Thank you for enabling me learn so much despote my 20 years in China wish you a blesssed 2025 to you land your loved ones all all your followers.
First time I learn this place exists, I have watched hundreds of China travel videos but this is first time I see there's such a place. Maybe this is something new? Your videos deserve more views.
Hello there 👋🏼 I’m not sure when Splendid China opened but I’d say it is several years now. It’s a great express way to learn about China. Thank you for your nice words ☺️
The fact that the Uighur women can still converse in their mother tongue which you can relate to, like you said, no barrier, proves that the PRC government did not wipe out their culture. Me live in South East Asia, on the other hand, can no longer speak Mandarin or Chinese anymore, my ancestors came from China to SEA 4 generation ago.
Hello there 👋🏼 Sorry to hear about your experience in SEA. Yes my ancestors had moved from northern China to Europe more than 1000+ years ago. It was moving to be able to converse with the Uyghur women (descendants of the Turkish people) in the same language. Thank you for watching the video and sharing your story 🙏🏽
Absolutely brilliant mate - captivated from the first seconds - and how amazing to see you talking with the Uyghur ladies in your native Turkish heritage - I could see you were also chuffed 🤩 - hope this video goes wild - I really thought this series would get many views & it’s starting to show after the views on the last one , very happy for you Sam & as always Thanks for sharing 👌👋👍🙏
a bit cheesy but I guess it offers a crash course in the diversity within china. some of the ethnic architecture is actually on point, just new looking 😂 because the authentic would be hundreds if not over a thousand years old. interesting to see the uyghur girls wear I think miao ethnic clothing(the silver head-dress at least). I think the park was having staff do double duty to save costs 🤣. I knew uyghur was based somewhat on turkish but didn't know it was close enough where you could understand it just from knowing turkish. you probably left china by now but if you visit again, you can try some uyghur restaurants and chat with staff to get some of their perspective on life as a minority in china.
Hello there 👋🏼 Yes I was abit skeptical at first but they’ve done a good job. The Uyghur girls were helping out with the big float parade so they were in traditional Dong dress when I met them. It would have taken a fair few staff to do that performance ☺️ The Uyghurs are Turkic and the original ancestors of the Turks. It’s surprising that the language has remained relatively the same in both corners of the Earth over thousands of years. I hope to be back in China again soon to explore more. I feel like a kid in a candy store ☺️ Thanks for watching the video 🙏🏽

☺️👌🏼🙏🏽
Great video❤❤❤✊✊✊
Thanks for watching 🙏🏽😊
I really liked the Tibetan and Uyghur dancing. The Splendid China village looks like a cool theme park to visit.
They were both great performances and they did go for a good period of time. The performances were very professional.

Bravo 👏 This type of theme park is much better than one with rides and showbags. Both educational and fun 😊
It really is. It actually didn’t feel like a park. It felt like I was really in the villages of the ethnic groups. It feels very authentic 👌🏼

The park provides access to culture. Customs and heritage. It’s a great introduction to what is available across China 👌🏼

if all countries treated their ethnic minorities like China, the world would be better off
Imagine US is big hearted enough to preserve native american culture that is almost non-existent today, how much more beautiful will it be.
That would be awesome. The different people of the country is one big mosaic that deserves to be preserved.
