    I have c diff and it's been a big struggle. Thanks for making this video, it helped me feel a little less alone. I relate with the feeling of almost losing hope from life events stacking up. Having a positive attitude is one of my biggest challenges right now.

    I discovered your TH-cam channel today. My daughter also receives Remicade. "There is another sky," a poem by Emily Dickinson, is to her brother who, like you, is named Austin. A few weeks ago I shared that poem with my daughter, hoping to brighten her day. Thank you for these videos.

    Hey thanks for posting this. We have a difficult condition. Second time with C-Diff Infection and am only getting treatment after two months. Sorry but nice to see I am not alone.

    I appreciate this video. I just got out of the hospital with c diff, and been in a UC flare for several months. It's been so difficult, and I have cried a lot.

      Hi Hannah - I'm glad the videos are helpful. I hope you start to feel better soon. If you have C-Diff and it's being stubborn, I ended up getting a FMT and it cleared it up right away.

      There is hope! Research as much as you can on IBD diets, health science, and the but microbiome. It takes time to heal... Autoimmune medications (Xeljanz) rescued me from a terrible flare, but I feel good diet and stress management will help me keep things under control.

    Your story is sounding like mine. Minor symptoms for 6 months, bad diarrhea every 2-3 months for 3-5 days. I got COVID two weeks ago, starting having bad GI symptoms and just tested positive for C. Diff and now have to wait a third time for my colonoscopy to check for UC. Hope you’re doing better now!

    Wow I literally have the same diagnosis and same experience as far as cdiff and UC… 23 years old as well. Just found your video.. currently dealing with cdiff for the 4th time.

    Every one goes through bad phase at the beginning but there are tons of treatment for Ra, as, IBD etc.
    Please don’t discourage by anything , usually 1 treatment lasts up to 10,15 30 years if not there are lots of treatments and they are finding more in next 5 years and in next 10 years there will be even more.
    Only temporary set back for the good.
    I am in steroids for 4 weeks and having my 3rd dose of Infleximab in 2 weeks hopefully it will work. If not I will be taking steroids again for another months or so until the new treatment makes effect in the blood.
    Best wishes ! Sending lots of love ❤️

      @@almostaustin thank you for your reply. Did you not try humira before or after Infleximab?

    • @almostaustin
      @almostaustin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did not try Humira. I was in really bad health, so my GI Doctor brought me straight up to Xeljanz. It has been an insurance nightmare, but I’m thankful it has been effective.

    • @dibaygautam2076
      @dibaygautam2076 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@almostaustin wow Bless you. they say humira is really powerful in healing IBD and xeljanz is given when humira and Infleximab isn’t working ..!
      Well this is my 7th week of Infleximab, hope next weeks infusion will work and bring down my steroid down 10 or less from current dose 15mg per day..if not they will give me humira. I had tried in before for my ankylosis spondylitis ( before I had IBD) it was working very well the boy reason I stopped was due to the fatigue, and now I don’t care about fatigue any more !
      Did you have to take steroids ? If yes what doses ?

    You need vancomycin or fidamaxin, taper for a month. With probiotics, florastor, and clean diet. Mix probiotics! Green tea, black seed oil, costrum

      I cannot advise on this, please contact a medical professional. My treatment after getting tested was a round of antibiotics.
