I had one of those that I bought brand new back in early 2014 then I later sold it. It was nice, I liked it. The first generation of the Symmetry Deluxe was my favorite because it didn't had a clutch and it did had a check bag indicator light.
They're good vacuums, but I'm just not a fan of their low airflow (but at least the aggressive agitation makes up for it). I prefer the Simplicity 7000 series (or Symmetry S20UP) or the Riccar 8000 series (or Vibrance R20UP) since most of them come with the 2 stage motor for more airflow.
They did later upgraded the motor where it had alot more airflow (Even better than the 2 stage motors) until they finally discontinued these machines. Personally, I like their central vacs the best. If I had gotten a Tacony machine, either the Riccar RPU-C10 or the Simplicity SPU-C20 is what I would've wanted. They used 240 volt 4 stage dual bypass motors.
Had one of these back in 2017, it was my first simplicity, and I absolutely loved it, I had low pile carpet so it did fine!
