    Butch Brown landing a 19.3lb Largemouth Bass on a Huddleston Deluxe swimbait. Video from the huddleston deluxe website.
    Please visit WWW.HUDDBAITS.COM for more information on these amazing swimbaits.
    As far as I am aware, this is Butch's biggest largemout to date. The fish was caught on March 28, 2008. Not only an amazing catch, this may be the single biggest largemouth bass ever on film from the strike to the net. Butch is the man!

    I used to night fish this lagoon. It’s absolutely loaded with Toads! The way they smash a slow rolled chatter bait along the bank line in the summer time is unreal. Senko and drop-shot also work well there. My PB came out of there, 12 pounder. We would pitch a tent and fish most the night then wake up early and leave before the ranger came through to collect the overnight camping fee. I remember one time leaving a bass on a stringer (to eat later by the campfire with my dog Max) while I continued fishing & catching many more that I released. After sunset I got hungry so headed back for my fish only to find nothing but the lips were left on the stringer. A raccoon or otter had stolen my dinner. Had to share a can of beans with ol’ Max that night.. 🎣 🦦

      madara uchiha Anther thing is a lot of these guys are fishing reservoirs or deep lakes where they use a lot of lake structure and bottom contour to influence fishing tactics. Good to know, but not to helpful if I am fishing a lake 8 feet deep everywhere and the bottom is basically all mud and no structure.

    • @zajdabneeg
      @zajdabneeg 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheBushwooky I am a shore structure type. In my midwest states where the whole shore is mostly thick mats of algea the fish in most case rather prefer to hide there. I am more of a tournament fisherman. I want to get my bag going and will put deep fishing more towards when the sun is up high and the bite is slow. With good electronics you will find fish. This is why to fish deep best thing to have is electronics. It is the eyes to see bottom structures. In your case I would target shore and if you want to do deep fishing use jigs and run them on the bottom to disturb causing fish to be trigger.

    That's Butch Brown the famous bass trainer. He raises the bass from small little fry in a fishtank in his home. When they get too big for the tank he puts them in an enclosed area of the lake. He then trains em to grab only his special lures which he of course sells. This fish was named Mr. Limpit and he has had it for about 10 years. Sorry to say shortly after this video Mr. Limpit was caught again and turned into fish and chips. Have a nice day.

    Great. Thank you. I use the calcuttas and love the loomis swimbait rods. (but the guides they use are way too small for many leader applications. I had changed mine and a friends rod due to the I.D. of the guides as well as their strength when putting a heavy load on the rod.)

    • @butchcassidy3373

      World record is over 22 lbs caught in South Georgia years ago by an man named Scott. There's a sign in a little town in GA called Jacksonville about the fish and the man who caught it.

    • @XploreAz
      @XploreAz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@butchcassidy3373 his name is George Perry. A man in Japan caught a 22lb 5oz largemouth bass which technically beats Perry's bass by 1 oz. But in order for it to be a new world record, it has to beat it by at least 2 oz. So it's in the record books as a tie.

    • @atroniix7402
      @atroniix7402 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    @matt9822 also I would say that rig he was using was not tuna gear but more than enough for catching a huge largemouth. It also looks to me that the fish pulled and moved the small boat to the fish while fighting. If he was using a smaller bass fishing rod and reel it would have not come in so easily.

    Half of the deal with those big Swimbait sticks is the bait. That bait (8in Hudd) weighs 4-5 ounces. That would break rods if you railed it out there as far as he does. Big rod=Big Cast with a big bait= Goliath bass.
