These videos are my go to video when I’ve had my two Kela’s - far better than Vango IMO. Hope you don’t mind me asking a question? My latest is a Kela IV bought second hand over the winter. It’s developed what I can only describe as a sticky feel to the material that forms the front bay window area and the porch but where it attaches to the van. The centre section is fine. We’ve never stored it damp and keep it stores in a dry location. We don’t think the previous owner treated t any different. Any ideas what’s happening ?
My only assumption would be that tree sap has got on it and that might be why it is sticky. We’ve not had the comment from anyone else before, so I would say that the previous owners might of find something with it. Even if the re-proofed it, it should be sticky.
Unfortunately the groundsheet isn’t breathable. We are unaware of any Driveaway awnings which have a breathable groundsheet. There are some that have removable groundsheets but not breathable. About 95% of Driveaway awnings have a sewn in groundsheet which isn’t breathable.

Great explanation
Is it a breathable ground sheet as some camp sites don’t allow ground sheets as they kill the grass
