- Welcome back to my channel, The Rachel Hodge! In this video, I'm sharing all my secrets on how to achieve a gorgeous twist out with a stretched flat twist technique. If you want to try this style for yourself, keep watching for some helpful tips and tricks!
To start, I prepped my hair with Color Wow's Money Mist leave-in conditioner for heat protection and moisture while blow-drying. Using the Dyson Airwrap, I stretched my hair before applying Patterns styling mousse for hold and definition.
In this tutorial, I'll show you step-by-step how to create neat and defined twists.
Whether you have type 3 or type 4 hair, this technique can work for you! I even tried it on my mom's type 4 hair with fantastic results (shown in video)

Love the how to remove gel w/o washing hair but the temporary use of dry shampoo! Oh yes!
Yesss, time is limited. I couldn't rewash my hair 🤣. I don't use dry shampoos too often, but it's always good to keep one good dry shampoo in your stash, just in case.

Question 🙋🏽♀️ if we don’t have a hooded dryer could we finesse it with a diffuser? If so, for how long?
@@arayofdeb Hey, love, this is a great question. I really recommend a drier. Otherwise, you would have to evenly diffuse for a while, for about 45 minutes, and then I would still give my hair a good 12 hours at least to air dry (even longer depending on thickness and product heaviness). If you don't have a hooded drier, try one of this soft hair bonnet drier attachments, it's pretty cost-effective and great to have in your stash.
