Thank U Great react. Kang Hyung-ho is the only one who didn't take formal lessons~ Kang Hyung-ho is amazing, he showed opera by self-study in the first competition~, he has amazing natural talent. If he had trained when he was young, he would have been amazing. He won and is now one of the 4 members!! He is a chemical researcher. He is active as a rocker in a band of office workers. You guys have got to get the latest Phantom Of The Opera performance of his where he won Immortal Songs episode together with Eun-Chul Oh and PITTA band about a month ago. This is over 5 years ago ..he does an even more rock-opera version since then…he has developed much more since this performance.
I really like your enthusiastic reactions to Forestella 💚💚 Kang Hyungho has always sung this song solo. It was his audition song for the Phantom Singer, the casting show that led to the making of Forestella. Since then, he has sung it countless times, developing it further with every performance. I believe, Forestella sometimes joke that Woorim (the bass) should sing the role of the Phantom, but I think by now, the song is too tied to Hyungho solo for that to make much sense. I didn't know this version you guys reacted to. Where did you even find it? There is one from a few years ago which has about 8 millions views. It is very rocky and very recognizably a duet between two different characters, but sung by one person. There is also the newest, most refined version from July 2024. I'll leave a link to the last one for you to check out. Forestella is not k-pop.....they are a crossover quartet Cho Mingyu [leggerio tenor] is their leader. HyungHo is not formally trained, & was a scientist. He has done other, longer versions of Phantom.
