I got back from Austria today and had the absolute pleasure of going to a rapid Vien game on sunday. The atmosphere was absolutley incredible, the fans are the best I've ever witnessed! It was only a small game but it had a cup final feel in the stadium. I wish English football was as well supported as this. Amazing
Until the 90s English football was a real working class sport and the atmosphere was usually brilliant. Prices then rocketed and most WC folk could no longer attend. Now become a middle class pastime and it just ain't the same anymore, every goal being greeted by a polite ripple of applause (I exaggerate of course).
A team that has more respect, better ultras, more trophies than Rapid Wien. We have won 4 champions leagues, 1 europa league, 2 intercontinental cups and 3 supercups. And btw when was the last time Rapid Vienna won the Austrian Bundesliga? 2008. How can you not win a league in between that time because the austrian league is super easy. And btw where in the Europa League did we reach last season? In the final and Rapid Vienna loses in the groupfase of the Europa League every year. Btw even salzburg is better than Rapid Vienna.

What Game you saw? Right now Rapid Vienna plays against Relegation so the atmosphere in the stadium isnt good like usually
